When is the 2026 World Cup?
The 23rd World Cup runs from Thursday 11th June to Sunday 19th July 2026. For the first time ever the competition features 48 teams and a record number of 104 matches across the five-week period. We will have every match covered in depth on Betfred with all the latest World Cup Odds.
Where is the 2026 World Cup?
The World Cup is being held in three countries across North America, with the 104 games taking place in Canada, Mexico and the USA. In total, there will be 16 cities hosting matches. They are Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Guadalajara, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Miami, Monterrey, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver. Over six million people are expected to attend and over five billion will watch a game on television.
