Thursday Greyhounds Tips: Trap2Line likes two from Newcastle and Hove

Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line is back with two picks for Thursday, having delivered one winner from yesterday's selections.

He's hoping for greater success this time around and his best bets for the day come from Newcastle and Hove. Check out his Thursday Greyhounds Tips below.

19:11 Newcastle - Elusivenomore (T1) @ SP

Small puppy competition starting at Newcastle this evening and we have just landed a really decent similar competition at Sheffield, beating some well fancied derby dogs. This to me is a drop in grade and we can use that to dominate this field tonight

T2 is a Sheffield and Sunderland regular, way off our times but does compete every now and then. Poor trial here though and puts him around eight lengths off the pace of this field so I feel may go off as a large outsider. 

T3 local here first run for a month or so and complete my back onto the track after a delight niggle. Does have good course and distance form in the graded structure, can he replicate that this evening? Unsure. T5, a very interesting Doncaster runner, has been flying round their 450m trip and well worth a try in this higher grade, could surprise a few tonight looking at this race, I feel could end up being a danger to us. 

T6 one run and one win, you can't ask for more. Steep step up in grade from an A3 to open class, but if coming on for that win and improving which puppies do may get competitive. Back to us, we have an excellent draw to lead or turn handy, good middle pace to close or go clear depending where we are and we SHOULD win this race by multiple lengths.

19:49 Hove - Ower Cracker (T1) @ SP

Ex-Irish runner, came here a month ago after a spell at Towcester and has run really well, winning a 500m and 515m open race, and seems to have an excellent draw on the fence against what looks like inferior rivals this evening.

T2 Romford raider will stay straight at traps and on the run up after watching videos, had solid but not spectacular form at Romford and here and we should lead this runner. T3 is our danger. Will want to come across to the rails so could crowd with T2 up his inner. 

T5 a little off top class over four bends, has dropped the odd good time into the mix and does have a good draw this evening with T3 moving left on the run up and could run well at a price. T6 has been here once and no real show, has been running well recently at Romford and over at Towcester so not all hope is lost but to me out-graded in this.

Back to us in T1 good draw, we have the wary pace to hold our position on the run up from T2 and also from T3 trying to come over to the rails, we are strong throughout the race so if we lead we win but we can also come from just off the pace too, so basically two bites of the cherry.. I'm confident of a big run.
