1 pt 18:59 Hove – King Presley (T5) @ SP
All eyes on the Nevill Road circuit Hove this evening for a competitive mixed card featuring nine open races. At 18:59 in the Little Turns Catering open race over the two-bend 285-metre trip, look out for the Ricky Holloway-trained runner KING PRESLEY from T5. The April 2023 son of King Elvis looks well-drawn with a vacant box in T4 and main rival Guzzler on his immediate outside in T6.
As ever over a sprint trip the break and run into the first bend will prove vital. It's imperative that King Presley brings his trapping boots and leads round. On the bunny is capable of clocking around the 16.30 mark, a repeat of that should see him take this. Bound By Belief (T1) has plenty to find on the clock but is lightly raced and open to improvement. He could be worth including in forecast bets at a price.

1 pt 19:49 Hove – Candolim Typhoon (T1) @ SP
The Sons Of Apathy open race over the six-bend 695-metre trip at 19:49 can go to the Derek Knight-trained railer CANDOLIM TYPHOON, who lines up from T1. The former Dundalk-based Greyhound has run twice since moving across the Irish Sea with a victory and fourth placed effort over four-bends. Now stepping up in trip, the June 2024 son of Tommy Shelby looks well-drawn to hold his pitch into the first bend and if that happens, he can lead off the second bend and kick for home.
The recent 41.72 trial over course and distance reads well and, with further improvement possible, he looks a solid play this evening. Minstrels Six (T2) is a consistent performer over this trip and rates as the main danger. Broncos Bullet (T4) and Avarua Flojo (T5) can both show early pace and could battle it out into the first bend. Ivy Hill Cherry (T3) stays well and would be a danger to all if within striking distance at the fifth bend.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
1 pt 20:24 Hove – Burrows Charm (T1) @ SP
The third and final selection from Hove this evening is BURROWS CHARM, who runs from T1 in the Coral 500 Trophy final over the four-bend 500-metre trip. This looks like a wide-open event with all in with live chances. All eyes on the break with no obvious leader in the race. Whichever Greyhound manages to lead round will prove hard to beat. Well-drawn on the rails Burrows Charm appeals from T1 at a price.
The Jason Heath-trained railer stays on strong and has form over further. If he holds his pitch into the corner, he should go well. Jacktavern Chief would be a danger to all if he brings his trapping boots this evening. Bluey Bullet (T6) has a flying 29.27 victory over course and distance on his card; he could attract support from a plot draw out in T6.
