1 pt 19:27 Sunderland – Nixon Drive (T1) @ SP
Two from three from Doncaster yesterday with Ballinderry Luna and Keefill Storm both winning in impressive fashion. Today, we head to Sunderland with three selections on a competitive all-graded card. At 19:27, look out for NIXON DRIVE, who lines up from T1 in the A6 graded race over the four-bend 450-metre trip at the north east venue.
The Yvonne Bell-trained railer is approaching five years old, but the daughter of Droopys Sydney is holding her form well with plenty of solid efforts in A5 and A6 company in recent weeks. This evening, in a race lacking early pace rails to middle Nixon Drive could turn handy and then its race on down the back straight. Reagrove Remy is an interesting runner from T4. Back in April, the middle seed was A2 class and has dropped through the grades in recent weeks. She could go well with a ping break. Wishful Nancy (T2) will be staying on well and looks a solid forecast pick in the race.

1 pt 20:19 Sunderland – Zari Cora (T4) @ SP
The A2 graded race at 20:19 can complete a double on the night for the Yvonne Bell kennel with ZARI CORA looking like the one they all have to beat. The early-paced middle seed looks well-drawn to lead round and once on the bunny, the lightly raced September 2024 pup is open to improvement and could prove to be well above this grade.
The key, as ever, will be the break and run into the first bend, trap well and Zari Cora can make all and go onto record her sixth victory at Sunderland. Noirs Rita (T2) stays on in taking fashion and would be a danger to all if within striking distance at the third bend. Marlfield Rapido (T3) is another who will be flying off the final corner and enters calculations, especially for those looking at forecast options in the race.

1 pt 20:36 Sunderland – Swift Oriel (T1) @ SP
The third and final selection from Sunderland is SWIFT BELL, who runs from T1 in the two-bend D1 graded sprint at 20:36. Swift Bell will be looking to lead round and land a treble on the night for trainer Yvonne Bell. The August 2024 son of King Elvis is eight from nineteen at the track and four from nine in this grade. If he gets it right at the boxes, holds the rails and leads off the second bend, he can add to those impressive strike rates.
Distant Barbie (T2) has won her last two in impressive fashion; she rates as the main danger on her hat-trick attempt. Ballymac Deboss (T3) mixes it in open class at Star Pelaw, Doncaster and Sunderland. The early-paced middle seed is another in with a live chance.
