In the 18:38, look out for STRIKE IT SKYE, who lines up from T1. The Mark Wallis-trained railer finished second in the first-round heats following early trouble. This evening, from a plot draw on the rails, the January 2024 daughter of Ballymac Cashout can hold her pitch, hit the back straight on the bunny and book her place in the third round of the Star Sports & Orchestrate English Greyhound Derby.

Lennies Desire (T5) and Texas Jack (T6) both rate as huge dangers. Doncaster raider Sole Focus (T2) will be looking to pop out and cause an upset and could go well at a price.

At 20:18, Carrick Scholsey (T1) and Scooby The Lady (T2) clash in what should be a cracker. Preference is for CARRICK SCHOLSEY from an inside pitch. The September 2023 son of Droopys Scloari starts and stays, he's strong over this four-bend 500-metre trip and is capable of winning this Derby heat from the front or if turning handy.

Scooby The Lady (T2) is a class act and should grab a qualifying spot for the next round of the competition. Quill Quids (T3) is another who will be staying on well and has claims in a competitive race. At a price, don’t rule out Romford raider Brunch Pal from T4. Recent victories at Hove and Central Park read well, and he could go well at a price.

Three heats of the Barking Mad Betting TV Trophy take centre stage from 21:18, with superstar Mongys Wild (T3) looking hard to beat in the first heat and Greenwell Gypsy (T1) the clear favourite in heat two at 21:38. Heat three at 21:54 looks more competitive and a race to get involved in.

Salacres Belleza is an interesting runner from T1, but preference is for INNFIELD FIFI who looks a solid play at the prices from T2. The Paul Young-trained Romford raider has form over this marathon 942-metre trip winning in 58.89 and will prove hard to beat granted a clear run this evening.

Remember Betty (T3) bolted up on eight-bend debut last week but has around half a dozen lengths to find on Fifi based on that 59.39 winning time. Bombay Hilda (T6) is a consistent four, six and eight-bend performer. She could be worth including in forecast bets at a price.
