Tottenham Hotspur Premier League Odds: Spurs to finish in the top four

Tottenham Hotspur head into the new Premier League season with the aim of going one step further than what they achieved last year, and that is to finish in the top four and bring Champions League football back to N17. They've bolstered their attacking ranks with the signing of Dominic Solanke from AFC Bournemouth, who netted 19 times in the league last year.
This will boost their chances of finishing higher this term. The fans will be hoping for a few more additions though after several players have departed over the course of the summer, but right now things are looking good. I take a look at the Tottenham Hotspur Premier League odds and give an honest prediction of where I think the club will finish in 2024/25.

Ange Postecoglou is gearing up for his second season in charge of Spurs and he will be hoping to build on last year's fifth-place finish. The aim will be to finish at least in the top four and qualify for the Champions League, but the Australian will also be eager to land the club their first piece of silverware since 2008, so they could venture far in both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
They also have their European adventure to come too, this year in the Europa League, which the manager will also dedicate a lot of time and effort to. Spurs will be considered to be one of the favourites in this year's competition, but that doesn't guarantee anything.
Back to the Premier League, as that's why we're here. Tottenham have got the players to deliver them a top-four finish, what we need to see from them this year is consistency. They started last season brilliantly, going unbeaten in their first 10 games. This was then followed by a three-match losing streak, and they then lost four in a row towards the end of the season that ultimately dashed their Champions League hopes.
The arrival of Solanke should make a huge impact. He was one of the best goalscorers in the division last term and surrounded by the likes of Son Heung-min, James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison and Brennan Johnson, he will be aiming to hit the 20-goal mark in this campaign.
Postecoglou does have plenty of quality in his attacking ranks, and that should help them accomplish their aims for the campaign. Solanke is very good at linking up play, too, so he will add more than just goals to the Australian's system, and it will be interesting to see how he fares in his first year in north London.
The squad looks to be in a good place, although we could see a few more additions before the September 1 deadline, but even if their business is concluded, they will be ready to go. And you have to think that those already there will be much stronger after a year and another pre-season of 'Ange ball' under their belt, and they will be even hungrier to end Tottenham's trophy drought.
Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro were excellent attacking full-backs last term and I think we could be about to see them play even bigger roles in this system for year two. Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven should be even better as a centre-back pairing after a year of getting used to each other's play styles, and there will be an onus on them to make Spurs much tougher to score against after they conceded 61 in 2023/24.
Another pre-season getting better-equipped to Postecoglou's style should help all the players with their roles for the season. With that in mind, it wouldn't surprise me to see Tottenham come out of the traps flying again, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them enjoy a similar start to the one they had last year. This should be a fun season in this part of north London.
