PSG vs Reims Prediction: PSG to secure the domestic treble

Paris Saint-Germain are gearing up for their Uefa Champions League final with Inter Milan at the end of the month, but as part of their warm up they meet Reims at Stade de France on Saturday (20:00) to contest the Coupe de France final.

Les Parisiens are on the cusp of a domestic treble and the players will want to stay match sharp for their trip to Munich later in the month. Read on for my PSG vs Reims predictions, aided by the latest team news and match odds.

PSG boss Luis Enrique has a fully-fit squad available for the final, which he will also want for the Champions League final next weekend. The Spaniard deployed a strong side in their final league match of the season against Auxerre on Saturday, and he is likely to go strong for the final, but there may be some wiggle room for a couple of changes.

The likes of Goncalo Ramos, Desire Doue and Warren Zaire-Emery will be pushing for starts, and a bit of rotation might serve PSG well.

Top scorer Ousmane Dembele might be kept in reserve to avoid an injury before the UCL final, but he'd likely still feature in the squad as he would be a useful asset if the game isn't going to plan.

Reims are missing Mohamed Daramy, Yaya Fofana and Reda Khadra due to injury problems, but boss Samba Diawara has no fresh concerns ahead of the final.

Top scorer Keito Nakamura will be turned to for inspiration in Paris, having scored 12 goals in all competitions this term. Aurelio Buta and Junya Ito were both absent from the squad that faced Metz in the first leg of their relegation play-off on Wednesday, potentially with this game in mind.

PSG have won four of their last seven matches heading into Saturday's final and they are the 1/8 favourites to prevail in regulation time. There have been goals at both ends in each of their past six appearances and combining the two markets gives you an attractive 7/4 price, which has an implied probability of 36.4%.

The two meetings between the teams in Ligue 1 this term ended in a draw and it's 6/1 for a stalemate at Stade de France.

Reims are winless in their last four appearances and they are 12/1 to prevail in 90 minutes.

It's been an excellent season for PSG and they have already wrapped up the league title and the Trophee de Champions. A domestic treble is very much on the cards, as is the quadruple with the Champions League also on the table.

Les Parisiens have two huge games before them before the season officially comes to an end, and the players will be determined to achieve history, especially as all of them are available to play.

Reims' end of season form has been disappointing, which has led to them fighting for their top-flight status in the relegation play-offs. It is interesting that they have held PSG to draw both home and away this campaign, and they could once again pose problems for Les Rouge-et-Bleu.

I think PSG will have more than enough quality to get the job done in regulation time, but I'm adding both teams to score because BTTS has struck in Les Parisiens' past six matches, while it was a successful bet in both draws with Reims in the league.

Dembele has been one of the standout players in Europe this season with 33 goals for PSG across all competitions. His team are on the cusp of a treble, which could be converted into a quadruple if they win both this match and the Champions League final in Munich.

This will likely propel Dembele high up the list in the running for this season's Ballon d'Or award, which you'd find difficult to argue against.

The French international has been a joy to watch this campaign and he has often been a source of inspiration for his side. He has netted three goals in this competition in the previous two rounds, while he also scored home and away against Reims in Ligue 1.

I think he's good value to get on the scoresheet on Saturday night.
