PSG vs Nice Prediction: Les Parisiens are aiming for an invincible season

The Ligue 1 title has been wrapped up by Paris Saint-Germain with games to spare and they are just four matches away from an invincible campaign. Les Parisiens were held to a 1-1 draw at Nantes on Tuesday and they have a quick turnaround as they welcome Nice to Parc des Princes on Friday (19:45).
Nice head to the capital off the back of a 2-1 victory over Angers, as they continue to push for a top-four spot. They are fifth in the standings, which secures a Uefa Europa League place, but they are two points behind Lille in fourth, where a spot in the Uefa Champions League qualifiers is up for grabs. Read on for my PSG vs Nice predictions, aided by the latest team news and match odds.

Team News
PSG boss Luis Enrique restored some of his first-team stars to the line-up at Nantes but he could heavily rotate again like he did for their previous home match against Le Havre. This is because Les Parisiens head to London on Tuesday for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie with Arsenal.
The Spanish coach will want to travel to the Emirates with his key players fit and available, so the likes of Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia could be rested here. Dembele was left out of the squad completely against Le Havre, so he may be omitted entirely again.
PSG have no injury concerns heading into Friday and Luis Enrique will look to keep it that way going into next week. This game may provide opportunities for the likes of Goncalo Ramos, Bradley Barcola and Desire Doue, who were all on the bench against Nantes.
PSG vs Nice Stats
- PSG are unbeaten in Ligue 1 this season
- Over 2.5 goals has struck in Nice's past four away trips in the league
Nice make the trip to the capital without the services of Tanguy Ndombele and Mohamed Abdelmonem, as the pair continue their respective recoveries from injury. Mohamed Ali-Cho was able to recover in time to make an appearance from the bench against Angers on Sunday, which has given the visitors a welcome boost.
Sofiane Diop was able to return after a two-game absence by coming off the bench for a cameo against Angers, while Jeremie Boga held the left attacking spot.
Gaetan Laborde and Evann Guessand have scored 20 league goals between them this term but they are both currently on a goal drought spanning to four matches.
PSG have won 87% (13/15) of their home matches in Ligue 1 this campaign, including each of their last five. They are 4/7, which has an implied probability of 63.6%, to come out on top on Friday.
Nice's last away trip in the league ended in a stalemate, which was also the outcome for PSG on Tuesday at Nantes. The draw is on offer at 100/30. Les Aiglons are 9/2 to inflict a first league defeat of the season upon the champions, but they have won on just two of their past six road trips in the top flight.
Both teams to score has been a winning selection in Nice's last nine away contests in the league and BTTS is available at 8/13 on Friday.
PSG or draw and both teams to score @ 10/11
Following the events at Nantes, I think double chance is worth considering here. This is PSG's last game before their crunch match against Arsenal at the Emirates and Luis Enrique will want his best players refreshed for their battle in London.
This means we could see him make several changes to the XI against Nice. Of course he and his players will look to maintain their unbeaten record but this may present Nice with the opportunity to gain an important point on the road in their pursuit of Champions League football for next term.
Les Aiglons have lost just one of their previous five away trips in Ligue 1 and will head to Paris with confidence from their home victory over Angers last weekend. PSG's fringe stars still possess more than enough quality to secure another home victory, but there is more at stake for Nice here, so I do see them potentially snatching a point in the capital.
BTTS has been added to improve the selection and as I have already mentioned, it has been a successful bet in Nice's last five away fixtures in the league.

Over 2.5 goals @ 4/7
There is another betting trend that has followed Nice on the road in recent weeks and that is over 2.5 goals. This has been a winning selection in each of their past four trips in Ligue 1, while their four latest outings in the top flight (home and away) have provided at least three goals.
For PSG, four of their last five league battles at Parc des Princes have featured over 2.5 goals, which bodes well for their clash with Nice on Friday evening.
