Team News
Conor Bradley and Giovanni Leoni are out for the rest of the season with knee injuries, while Liverpool's record signing, Alexander Isak, won't be back any time soon, either, as he recovers from a leg injury.
Mohamed Salah is still on Africa Cup of Nations duty with Egypt, but Hugo Ekitike could be back to lead the line on Saturday after playing the last half an hour of Monday's 4-1 victory over Barnsley in the FA Cup third round.
Mike Tresor, Zian Flemming (both unspecified), Jordan Beyer (thigh), Zeki Amdouni (knee), Connor Roberts (Achilles) and Josh Cullen (knee) are out injured for Burnley, who could welcome back South African striker Lyle Foster, who missed last weekend's 5-1 thrashing of Millwall in the FA Cup due to illness.
Liverpool vs Burnley Predicted Lineups
- Liverpool: Alisson; Frimpong, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Szoboszlai, Wirtz, Gakpo; Ekitike
- Burnley: Dubravka; Laurent, Esteve, Humphreys; Walker, Ugochukwu, Florentino, Pires; Edwards, Anthony; Broja
Liverpool, who have won the last five head-to-heads, are 2/9 to claim all three points on Saturday, while Burnley are 12/1, or a 7.7% chance, to spring a surprise at Anfield, with the draw offered at 11/2.
Kyle Walker To Be Carded has been boosted from 7/2 to 9/2.
Liverpool vs Burnley Stats
- Anthony (BUR) is averaging 0.7 shots on target p/90 (PL)
- Anthony is averaging 1.7 fouls won p/90 (PL)
- Four players have been booked for fouling Anthony in 25/26 PL
Player to Have 1 or More Shots On Target - Jaidon Anthony (BUR) @ 11/8
Burnley winger Jaidon Anthony has scored in back-to-back games against Manchester United and Millwall, so on Saturday, he will be looking to make it three in three.
The 26-year-old is the Clarets' joint-top goalscorer in the Premier League this season, netting five times, the same as Zian Flemming.
Anthony has scored home and away against Manchester United, and struck his side's only goal of the game in their 5-1 hammering at Manchester City, so he's got a couple of big clubs on his victim list.
The Englishman is averaging 0.7 shots on target per 90 in the 2025/26 Premier League, recording at least one in eight of his 20 appearances (15 starts).
Liverpool have chopped and changed at right-back this season, but it's the attack-minded Jeremie Frimpong who looks set to start in the position this weekend, and that may offer some encouragement to Anthony, who will sense an opportunity to get behind the Dutchman.

Player to Receive a Card - Jeremie Frimpong (LIV) @ 7/1
There could be a big battle brewing between Frimpong and Anthony.
Frimpong is yet to be booked for Liverpool since making the move from Bayer Leverkusen last summer, but in three full Bundesliga seasons for Die Werkself, he picked up 16 yellows in 90 appearances.
Anthony, who is averaging 1.9 fouls won per 90 minutes in the Premier League this season, has tempted four players into making yellow-card challenges on him, the first of which was Reds right-back Bradley in September's reverse fixture.
More recently, Everton duo Tim Iroegbunam and Tyler Dibling were booked for fouling the 26-year-old in a goalless stalemate on December 27, a week after AFC Bournemouth's David Brooks was shown a yellow for upending him in a 1-1 draw.
At 7/1, there's great value in backing Frimpong in the Player to Receive a Card market on Saturday.
