AFC Bournemouth's winless run in the Premier League extended to seven games (D3, L4) on Monday as they drew 4-4 at Manchester United, but on Saturday (15:00 GMT), they face a Burnley side who haven't just failed to win any of their last seven, but have suffered defeat in all.

Below are my Bournemouth vs Burnley predictions, supported by all the latest team news and match odds, ahead of this South Coast meeting between the Cherries and Clarets at Vitality Stadium.

Team News

After serving a yellow card suspension, Bournemouth midfielder Tyler Adams made his return to the starting lineup on Monday, but lasted just five minutes before being taken off with a knee injury.

The USA international joins fellow American Matai Akinmboni (muscle), Ben Gannon-Doak (hamstring), Ryan Christie and Veljko Milosavljevic (both knee) in the Cherries treatment room.

Football Odds

Burnley, meanwhile, are depleted after three of their players, Axel Tuanzebe (DR Congo), Lyle Foster (South Africa) and Hannibal Mejbri (Tunisia), were called up for their countries to represent them at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. Tuanzebe and Foster both started last Saturday's 3-2 loss to Fulham, so they will need to be replaced in the starting XI this weekend.

Zeki Amdouni (knee), Jordan Beyer (hamstring) and Connor Roberts (groin) are all sidelined with injuries.

Bournemouth vs Burnley Predicted Lineups

  • Bournemouth: Petrovic; Smith, Diakite, Senesi, Truffert; Tavernier, Scott; Jimenez, Kluivert, Semenyo; Evanilson
  • Burnley: Dubravka; Sonne, Ekdal, Esteve, Hartman; Ugochukwu, Cullen, Florentino; Anthony, Bruun Larsen, Flemming

Bournemouth vs Burnley Odds

Bournemouth, who have collected 15 of their 21 points this season on home soil, are 1/2 favourites to end their winless run on Saturday, implying a 66.7% probability of success. Like Andoni Iraola's side, Burnley are without a win since October 26, but their 6/1 odds suggest only a 14.3% chance of picking up all three points this weekend, while the draw is offered at 7/2.

Bournemouth vs Burnley Stats

  • BUR have lost their last seven games
  • BOU have registered the most shots on targets & corners in five of their last six home games
  • Semenyo (BOU) has scored and assisted in the same PL match on two occasions this season

Price Boosts - Bournemouth to Win, Bournemouth Most Shots on Target, Bournemouth Most Corners & Burnley Most Booking Pts @ 5/2 3/1

Both sides are on awful runs of form, but Burnley's results have been even more catastrophic, and they sit 11 points behind their hosts this Saturday, who should feel more confident after hitting four goals at Old Trafford at the start of the week.

The Cherries are expected to dominate at the Vitality, where they have registered the most shots on target and taken the most corners in five of their last six games.

Today's Football Fixtures

The final part of this Price Boost, for Burnley to receive the most booking points, looks like the most difficult to achieve, as Burnley have picked up the fourth-fewest yellow cards (23) in this season's Premier League, while Bournemouth (41) are joint-top for cautions.

However, Scott Parker's side have received more reds (two) than the Cherries (one), and they've been shown the most booking points in their last two away games, while Chelsea were awarded the most in Bournemouth's last home match.

Price Boosts - Antoine Semenyo (BOU) To Score & To Assist @ 10/1 12/1

Antoine Semenyo, Bournemouth's leading marksman this season, ended a two-month-plus goal drought in Monday's eight-goal thriller at Old Trafford, scoring his seventh Premier League goal of the campaign to grab the Cherries' first equaliser of the game.

The 25-year-old will surely be more confident after that strike, which doesn't bode well for a Burnley side that has shipped 33 goals in 16 league matches, and 23 in eight on their travels.

I think the Ghanaian international can score at least once on Saturday, and he may help himself to a fourth assist of the season, too.

Semenyo, who registered five Premier League assists in the previous campaign, has already scored and assisted in two separate matches this term, directly contributing to both of Bournemouth's goals (one goal, one assist) in a 2-1 victory over Brighton at the Vitality on September 13, and all three of their strikes (two goals, one assist) in another home win against Fulham (3-1) on October 3.

Harry Wilson assisted Fulham's first two goals last Saturday before scoring their third in a 3-1 win at Turf Moor, while Erling Haaland bagged a brace and laid one on for a teammate in Manchester City's 5-1 thrashing of the Clarets on September 27, so there is form for this bet to win against Parker's side.
