Team News
Maxi Oyedele (muscle) and Emmanuel Emegha (leg) are expected to miss out for Gary O'Neil's Strasbourg on Thursday, while Mamdou Sarr (Chelsea), Abakar Sylla (FC Nantes), Saidou Sow (FC Clermont) and Kendry Paez (River Plate) have all left the club in recent days.
Chelsea loanee Aaron Anselmino could make his debut after joining Le Racing earlier this week, while Valentin Barco, who served a suspension in Sunday's 2-1 Ligue 1 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, is free to return.
Once again, Monaco are set to be without Wout Faes (ankle), Paul Pogba (calf), Eric Dier (thigh), Christian Mawissa (hamstring) and Pape Cabral (muscle), as well as knee-injury victims Mohammed Salisu, Takumi Minamino and Lukas Hradecky.
Head coach Sebastien Pocognoli saw 19-year-old forward George Ilenikhena depart for Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad last week, too, although Simon Adingra has arrived on loan from Sunderland to fill the void.
Strasbourg vs Monaco Predicted Lineups
- Strasbourg: Penders; Doue, Doukoure, Hogsberg, Chilwell; El Mourabet, Barco; Moreira, Enciso, Godo; Panichelli
- Monaco: Kohn; Teze, Zakaria, Kehrer, Vanderson, Coulibaly, Camara, Caio Henrique; Akliouche, Golovin; Biereth
Strasbourg, who haven't won any of the previous seven head-to-heads (D1, L6), are 11/8 favourites to triumph in regulation time on Thursday, implying a 42.1% probability of success, while Monaco are 7/4, or a 36.4% chance, to win themselves.
The draw, which would send the tie to a penalty shootout, is priced at 23/10, while Strasbourg and Monaco are 8/11 and 1/1, respectively, in the To Win Tie market.
Both Teams To Score In Both Halves has been boosted to 11/1 (was 9/1).
Strasbourg vs Monaco Stats
- Enciso (STR) has scored five goals across his last seven apps
- MON have suffered seven away defeats in 25/26
- STR have won three of their last four home matches (lost 2-1 v PSG)
Anytime Goalscorer - Julio Enciso (STR) @ 21/10
Brighton & Hove Albion loanee Julio Enciso endured a slow start to his Strasbourg career, but he's really come to life in the last seven games, scoring in four of them, and netting five times during this run to take his 2025/26 tally to six.
The 22-year-old has struck just once in Ligue 1, although that was less than two weeks ago in a 4-1 win at Lille OSC.
Enciso has had more success in the cup competitions, scoring twice in the Uefa Conference League and three times in the Coupe de France, including a brace in the last round as his loan club thrashed Avranches 6-0.
Monaco represent a sizeable step up in class, but having scored against Lille recently, Enciso should fancy his chances of breaching the visitors' back line on Thursday.
At 21/10, I fancy the in-form Argentine to get on the scoresheet here.

Match Result - Strasbourg @ 11/8
Monaco broke out of a four-game winless run in emphatic style last Saturday, thrashing Stade Rennais 4-0 at the Stade Louis II, but that's not enough to sway me in their direction on Thursday.
Les Rouge et Blanc lost three of their first four games (W1) this calendar year, drawing the next two, and have been rotten on the road all season, suffering seven defeats away from the principality. They've lost four of their last eight away matches (W2, D2), and one of those wins came in the Coupe de France at third-tier club Orleans (1-3).
Strasbourg, meanwhile, have been in brilliant form since mid-November, going eight games unbeaten (W6, D2) before they were edged out 2-1 by reigning French and European champions PSG last Sunday. They've seemingly been unaffected by the mid-season departure of head coach Liam Rosenior, with O'Neill carrying on his work seamlessly.
Le Racing have lost just three times at home all season, and prior to that PSG defeat, they had won the last three on their own turf.
I think Strasbourg can get the job done in 90 minutes on Thursday.
