Scotland vs morocco bet builder

Having just about seen off Haiti in their opening World Cup Group C fixture, Scotland now take on a Morocco side fresh off an excellent performance in a 1-1 draw with Brazil. The pair meet at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough on Friday night (6pm local, 11pm BST, live on ITV).

The common consensus is that Scotland will likely need at least a point from the two remaining group games to progress, and they won’t want to face Brazil with work still to do. I have picked out a 7.08/1 treble for my Scotland vs Morocco Bet Builder tips.

Scotland vs Morocco Odds

Over 2.5 Total Goals

Given that Steve Clarke’s side earned a narrow 1-0 win first up and Morocco’s draw was of a low-scoring variety, these teams don’t exactly come in with ‘Over 2.5’ kind of form.

But in truth, there were goals left out there by all four teams involved, and I think a reduction in anxiety levels with the opener out of the way results in more goals here.

The Tartan Army will have been pretty concerned with the porous nature of their defence against Haiti, even though they kept a clean sheet in the end. Meanwhile, Morocco breached the Brazil back line with relative ease and will have been kicking themselves that they didn’t come away with the win.

I think Morocco get goals here, and I wouldn’t put it past the likes of John McGinn, Lawrence Shankland and tricky sub Findlay Curtis to cause trouble in the final third for Scotland.

Player to Score (Sub Switch): Brahim Diaz

This was a bet that came in for me with regularity during the AFCON finals at the beginning of the year, with the Real Madrid star netting in his first five appearances at the tournament.

Diaz’s record in tournament play of late has been excellent, with seven scored in four AFCON qualifiers before those five in the finals competition.

He also teed up the Atlas Lions’ goal against Brazil for Ismael Saibari at the MetLife on Saturday, and I fancy him to go one better here.

With the Sub Switch feature applying, we also get the bonus of the bet continuing with Diaz’s replacement should the 26-year-old not make it to full-time.

Player 3+ Fouls (Sub Switch): Lewis Ferguson

With Bologna in 2025/26, Lewis Ferguson averaged 1.86 fouls per 90 minutes, and that went up to around 2.6 per 90 in the Europa League with six of his 12 starts in that competition ending in him committing at least three fouls.

For Scotland, he can be even more of a nuisance to the opposition. Against Denmark alone in the Hampden Park fixture which saw his nation qualifying for the World Cup finals, the midfielder was guilty of seven offences.

It seems that the greater the stakes, the more the former Aberdeen man gets stuck in. So the 3+ bracket for fouls conceded looks good to me. Again, the Sub Switch element helps to make this an even better prospect whatever the likelihood of him seeing out the full 90 minutes.
