DR Congo vs Uzbekistan Prediction: The Leopards to prey on the White Wolves

DR Congo are in need of three points in their final Group K game on Saturday (7:30pm local time/Sunday 12:30am, BBC Two) to give them their best chance of progressing to the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup.

DR Congo have a clean bill of health ahead of this crunch clash.  Arthur Masuaku and Aaron Wan-Bissaka will flank the Leopards' defensive unit.

Captain Chancel Mbemba and Axel Tuanzebe should continue stationed ahead of goalkeeper Lionel Mpasi, who had a fine display in the 1-0 defeat against Colombia on matchday two.

Sunderland's Noah Sadiki could be under consideration to start in midfield, having entered the fray at half-time in the last game. Yoane Wissa and Cedric Bakambu's attacking partnership looks set to continue.

Uzbekistan also have no injuries to worry about for this clash, but of course they have nothing to play for.

Rustam Ashurmatov, Asadbek Abdullaev and Abdukodir Khusanov has been the trusted back three by boss Fabio Cannavaro, and this trio should be trusted again in Atlanta.

Eldor Shomurodov will lead the line for the White Wolves, while Abbosbek Fayzullaev, Uzbekistan's only scorer at the tournament, is set to operate near the front man.

Uzbekistan have been the Group K whipping boys and DR Congo will be hoping that this can continue when they meet in Georgia. I think the Leopards have the tools at their disposal to win this game comfortably, so I'm backing them to win to nil at 15/8 (implied probability of 34.8%).

DR Congo will need to be clinical against Uzbekistan and one player the Leopards will hope can provide that is striker Wissa. He netted the equaliser against Portugal in the opening match in what was a brilliant display from the Newcastle United man.
