Xabi Alonso and Simone Inzaghi will make their debuts in charge of Real Madrid and Al Hilal, respectively, on Wednesday (20:00 BST, Channel 5/DAZN) as the two sides meet in Group H of the 2025 Fifa Club World Cup.
Below you can find my Real Madrid vs Al Hilal Bet Builder Tips as we look to land a 25/1 four-fold from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Both Teams to Score - Yes
It's difficult to analyse two teams that will be debuting a new man in the dugout, but it's probably reasonable to suggest that neither head coach will have gotten his players fully on board in terms of adjusting to their style of play, so we can expect a few hiccups in their first few games.
That's one reason for backing both teams to score on Wednesday, and another is their league records in the 2024/25 season.
Real Madrid conceded 38 goals in as many La Liga games, nine more than the meanest defence, Athletic Club (29), and eight more than city rivals Atletico Madrid (30). At the same time, they ranked ninth in the BTTS table, with 55% (21) of their matches ending with both teams on the scoresheet.
Los Blancos have endured personnel issues in defence, with Dani Carvajal, David Alaba, Eder Militao and Antonio Rudiger all missing the final month or so of the regular season, and in the case of the first three, significant chunks of the campaign.
Even if most are back in midweek, they aren't likely to be in their best condition, and the arrival of Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back is unlikely to strengthen them too much in defence, though Dean Huijsen is a welcome addition at centre-back.
Al Hilal, meanwhile, only posted the joint-sixth best defensive record in the Saudi Pro League, a real surprise given their financial might and the top-class defenders in their squad.
Inzaghi, meanwhile, ended his Inter tenure with a 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in the Uefa Champions League Final. Keeping out a Real Madrid outfit that has scored in 25 of their last 26 games feels almost impossible.
He'll fancy his side's chances of breaching their back line, though, with the likes of Aleksandar Mitrovic, Malcom and Marcos Leonardo in attack.

Ruben Neves (HIL) Total Shots 2+
I'm all over Al Hilal midfielder Ruben Neves to take 2+ shots at 5/1. Straight in the Bet Builder he goes.
The 28-year-old has 'only' averaged 1.2 and one shot per game in his two Saudi Pro League seasons since moving from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2023, but in his last Premier League campaign with the Old Gold, in 2022/23, he averaged 1.9 per game, a minimum he achieved in three of his five seasons in the English top flight.
Meanwhile, in Portugal's Euro 2024 qualification campaign, he averaged 0.9 shots per game, despite averaging only 34 minutes per match, with six of his eight appearances coming as a substitute.
Neves started Portugal's Uefa Nations League semi-final win against Germany earlier this month, seeing a long-range header go off target in the third minute, before he was withdrawn in the 58th minute. He began the final on the bench but came on at half-time against Spain and took just eight minutes to see another long-distance effort, this time with his right foot, blocked.
I'm expecting Real Madrid to dominate Wednesday's contest, which could mean Al Hilal putting extra emphasis on free-kicks and long-range shots, both of which are Neves' forte, so 5/1 for two shots is a real steal, in my opinion.
Real Madrid vs Al Hilal Bet Builder Stats
- Renan Lodi (HIL) averaged 2.1 tackles p/g in this season's AFC Champions League Elite
- Joao Cancelo (HIL) was booked five times in the 2024/25 Saudi Pro League
Renan Lodi (HIL) Total Tackles 2+
Al Hilal left-back Renan Lodi, who spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Nottingham Forest, is a player who enjoys a tackle.
The 27-year-old averaged 1.5 tackles per game in his debut SPL campaign before raising the bar to 1.7 p/g game this term. His average in the AFC Champions League Elite, meanwhile, was 2.3 p/g, and his Premier League average was 1.9 p/g.
On Wednesday, the Brazilian will be up against several tricky forwards, including Vinicius Jr., Kylian Mbappe and Arda Guler, so he'll need to be at his tenacious best to help his side nullify the Spanish giants.

Player Shown Any Card - Joao Cancelo (HIL)
Former Manchester City full-back Joao Cancelo received five yellow cards in 22 SPL appearances (21 starts) in 2024/25, which isn't a surprise when you see that he was averaging two fouls per game.
The 31-year-old wasn't booked in either of his two Nations League outings last year but committed four fouls against Scotland and one against Croatia.
Cancelo featured nine times for Al Hilal in their AFC Champions League Elite campaign this season, making eight starts, and was cautioned twice.
The Portuguese right-back could be in for a difficult evening on Wednesday, with Real Madrid left-winger Vinicius Jr. likely to be his direct opponent. The Brazilian was fouled, on average, 2.3 times per game in the 2024/25 La Liga season, and 1.8 times per game in the 2024/25 Champions League, while his average in the South American section of 2026 World Cup qualifying is 1.8 p/g.
Cancelo, therefore, looks like a prime candidate to go into the referee's notebook in Miami Gardens.
