Southampton vs Leicester Stats
- Southampton are unbeaten in five games. Leicester are the only team to score more than one goal against them in a match during that period
- Leicester City hold the record for the most FA Cup final defeats before winning the trophy. The 2021 victory over Chelsea was the Foxes’ fifth FA Cup final, losing their previous four
Price Boost: Both teams to score in the first half and in the second half was 9/1 now 11/1
We know these teams have goals in them. They shared seven of them a few short days ago. Now in that game, Leicester went in 3-0 up at half-time before capitulating.
This is why I think there will be goals either side of half-time for both sides on Saturday. Southampton know Leicester can be got at now. Meanwhile, the Foxes have the key to a fast start against these particular opponents. The promise of plenty of goals ties in nicely with tip number two.

Total goals over 3.5 @ 7/4
A no-brainer coupled with the above shout. For the maths geniuses amongst you, a goal in each half from each side is four goals. Four is more than 3.5. Simple.
While we may stop short of another 4-3, I can see these Championship outfits clearing the 3.5 goal mark quite easily. The command they have over each other’s frailties is absolute.
