Brest vs Monaco Prediction: Ref to show revved-up red and whites his colours

Stade Brestois 29 endured a tricky first half of November, with a goalless draw at home to Olympique Lyonnais and a 3-0 defeat at Olympique Marseille extending their winless run to six games (D3, L3). However, they recovered to end the month with back-to-backs victories at home to FC Metz (3-2) and away to RC Strasbourg (1-2).
On Friday (18:00 GMT, Ligue 1 Pass), they host AS Monaco, who beat reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 last Saturday, at the Stade Francis-Le Ble. Below are my Brest vs Monaco predictions, supported by all the latest team news and match odds.

Team News
Polish goalkeeper Radoslaw Majecki, on loan from Monaco, has missed his temporary club's last two games with a knee injury that looks set to rule him out of a reunion with his parent side.
Bradley Locko (thigh) has also been absent from Brest's last couple of matches, making him a major doubt for Friday's contest, too.
Thilo Kehrer is suspended for Monaco following his red card against PSG, although the visitors are boosted by the return of Denis Zakaria, who was banned last week.
Eric Dier (calf) and Christian Mawissa (hamstring) could miss out again, though.

Brest vs Monaco Stats

Both Teams To Score and Total Goals Over/Under +2.5 - Yes & Over 2.5 @ 4/5
This selection was a winner in last season’s corresponding fixture, and the statistics make for positive reading if you’re looking for history to repeat itself.
Monaco are joint-top of the Ligue 1 ‘Both Teams To Score’ table, with 71% (10) of their 14 games this season seeing both teams find the back of the net.
Brest rank lower than Monaco, with 50% (seven) of theirs seeing BTTS-Yes come in, but only five teams, including Monaco, of course, have recorded a higher percentage so far. Les Pirates (57%) are joint-sixth in the BTTS table when only home games are applied, while Monaco (83%) are second only to OGC Nice (86%) in the away table.
Both sides also rank joint-second, with four other clubs, in the Over 2.5 Goals table, as only Marseille (71%) are bettering their 64%.
Brest’s number rises to 71% at home, putting them joint-second again, while Monaco are fourth in the away table with 67%.
This bet has been a winner in Brest’s last two games, and three of Monaco’s last four in all competitions.

Team With Most Booking Points - Monaco @ 11/8
No Ligue 1 side has received more red cards this season than Monaco (four), who rank joint-second for yellows (33), too.
Les Rouges et Blancs received three yellows and one straight red against PSG last week, racking up 55 booking points to their opponents' 10. It was their third consecutive dismissal in Ligue 1, and marked the eighth time in 14 league games this term that they had received the most booking points.
Brest, meanwhile, have picked up just 23 yellows - only three clubs have been awarded fewer - and only one red.
Backing Monaco in the Team With Most Booking Points market at 11/8, then, could be a profitable move.
