Football Odds

Yes - Burnley vs Bournemouth

Successive defeats have made Burnley's chances of survival in the Premier League even more challenging. The Clarets host AFC Bournemouth at Turf Moor and the Cherries are going through a drawing trend - with four of their past five outings in the league ending in a stalemate.

I think both teams will get on the scoresheet here because this has been a successful bet in 11 of Bournemouth's past 14 matches in the top flight. BTTS - Yes has also been a winning selection in three of Burnley's previous four games in the league.

It's also worth noting that the reverse fixture in December finished 1-1.

Yes - Chelsea vs Newcastle

Two teams who have been good value in the BTTS market lately are Chelsea and Newcastle United, who face each other at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening. There have been goals at both ends in each of Chelsea's last seven fixtures in the Premier League.

Newcastle have seen this bet land in their past six matches in the top flight, so I think it's fair to assume that this contest will be entertaining. The two sides also played out a 2-2 draw on Tyneside in December's reverse fixture, so I am confident they will both find the net this time around.

Yes - West Ham vs Man City

West Ham United will look to extend their unbeaten run at home in the Premier League to four when they welcome Manchester City to the London Stadium. The Irons picked up a valuable three points at Fulham last week to aid them in their quest for survival.

City were held to a draw at strugglers Nottingham Forest as they sit seven points behind leaders Arsenal in the title race. With the Citizens' defence looking vulnerable, I think BTTS - Yes is a sensible play here.

It has been successful in six of West Ham's previous nine outings in this competition. This market has struck in four of Man City's last six fixtures in the league, as well as four of their past five meetings with the Irons.

Yes - West Brom vs Hull

In the Championship. West Bromwich Albion seek three points to strengthen their survival hopes when hosting promotion hopefuls Hull City at The Hawthorns. The visitors have seen BTTS - Yes strike in 23 of their 36 games in the second tier this campaign, including five of their last seven.

Albion have seen this bet land in each of their past four games in the Championship, and I predict this trend will continue on Saturday given Hull have the worst defensive record in the top half of the table.

No - Millwall vs Blackburn

Millwall are just one point behind Middlesbrough, who sit in the second in the Championship. The Lions are seeking a fifth-straight victory in the league when they face Blackburn Rovers at The Den.

The visitors have lost three of their previous four games in the second tier, while they have failed to score in five of their last eight away trips in the league. Six of Millwall's past 11 outings in the Championship have seen at least one team fail to score, including three of their most recent four.
