We’ve got the Championship play-off final coming our way on Saturday, having only found out that Middlesbrough will be playing Hull City on Wednesday instead of Southampton - and that features in Saturday’s Football Accumulator Tips.

Read on as we try and find a winner, after last week’s acca fell short by one. Cheers Heidenheim.

Celtic to beat Dunfermline with -1 handicap (3pm) @ 4/6

Celtic won the Scottish title in the most dramatic fashion last weekend as they beat Hearts at home, and Martin O’Neil could make it a famous double as they are heavy favourites to lift the Scottish Cup this Saturday.

They face Championship side Dunfermline Athletic, who have been on an amazing journey to reach this final, but are now at the end of a long campaign. They lost the second leg of their play-off semi-final against Partick Thistle, and could find themselves lacking legs on Saturday.

Middlesbrough to beat Hull City (3.30pm) @ 4/5

Middlesbrough! Yes, Middlesbrough, the team that lost the play-off semi-final to Southampton are now back with a second bite of the cherry after the most dramatic week the Championship has ever seen.

Saints were thrown out due to Spygate, the scandal that has caught the attention of absolutely everybody. Now, Kim Hellberg’s side have a chance to make it to the Premier League as they face Hull City. I’ve written Hull off all season, and been wrong at every turn. But Boro are the rightful favourites here and might just be able to win the richest game in football.

Inter to beat Bologna (8pm) @ 5/4

The Serie A champions round off their season on Saturday night, and although there is always a risk in backing the league winners with nothing to play for, I’m going to do it. Inter have been the dominant force in Italy this term, and they will want to end on a high.

Bologna realistically have nothing to play for, three points outside the European spots with a much poorer goal difference than Atalanta, and so this game doesn’t matter too much. As a result, I’ll back Cristian Chivu’s side to take maximum points again.

Barcelona (A) to beat Valencia @ 9/10

Same theory for Barcelona here, who can relax with nothing on their shoulders for the final league game of the season. The only issue for this one is that Valencia can still qualify for Europe as they sit two points behind Getafe, and one behind Conference League finalists Rayo Vallecano.

Barca have finished the season strongly with eight wins out of their last nine and I just think this is another game they should go and win.

Double chance - Draw or Elche vs Girona (8pm) @ EVS

The most crucial game on the last day of La Liga comes as Girona host Elche in a relegation decider. Girona sit in the final relegation spot, just two points behind Elche, with Osasuna and Levante still also within striking distance.

We should get amazing drama, and I’m going to side with Elche to stay up. All they need to do is avoid defeat against a side that is winless in their last seven outings. Elche have won two of their last five by comparison to climb out of the bottom three, and I think now it is in their own hands they can get over the line.
