Sheffield Wednesday vs Ipswich Town (15:00) @ 4/7
Sheffield Wednesday almost held on for only their second win of the season in midweek, but unfortunately a late equaliser for Watford stole that from them. That is their first point of 2026, but it’s always tough for them in a three-game week and Ipswich come to Hillsborough on Saturday.
The Tractor Boys haven’t kicked on in the way Kieran McKenna would have hoped, with back-to-back draws leaving them four points behind Middlesbrough in second. However, they should have far too much attacking quality for their hosts - who may also be able to contribute with a goal having scored in five of their last six games.
Sheffield Wednesday vs Ipswich Town (15:00) @ 4/7
Down to League 1 now and Leyton Orient’s matches have been good for goals this season. Their last five outings have seen over 2.5 goals and 23 of their 35 league matches have seen three goals or more - ranking them second for that statistic.
Meanwhile Peterborough have a 54% success rate for over 2.5 goals, but they have seen plenty of goals lately, with five of their last seven hitting the over 2.5 mark.

Swindon vs MK Dons (15:00) @ 4/5
The fourth tier brings us Swindon vs MK Dons and I’m hopeful for goals in this one, based on just how entertaining Swindon are this term. They top the charts in League 2 in terms of over 2.5 goals, with 64% of their games containing three or more goals.
Four of their last five have seen this pick come in, while MK Dons have won their last two games by scorelines of 5-1 and 4-1. This should be a really competitive game, hopefully, with plenty of goals in it.
Chelsea vs Newcastle (17:30) @ 4/9
Up to the Premier League now and there should be plenty of goals as Chelsea host Newcastle. These two are second and third in the over 2.5 goals charts in the Premier League, with 19 of their 29 league games apiece seeing over 2.5 goals.
After Chelsea’s Champions League goalfest with PSG I think more goals are on the cards, while Newcastle have seen over 2.5 goals in 11 of their last 12 games.
West Ham vs Man City (20:00) @ 1/2
Manchester City head to the capital having endured a bit of a beating from Real Madrid, and they need all three points to put the pressure on league leaders Arsenal. West Ham won’t be pushovers having beaten Brentford in the FA Cup on penalties after a 2-2 draw, but this game does promise goals.
City have seen over 2.5 goals in four of their last five outings and I’m happy to back it to come in again here, taking our accumulator to 9/1.
