Joao Palhinha (Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur, Sat 12:30) @ 15/8

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Joao Palhinha has made it abundantly clear that he's not fond of the Red Devils, having picked up three yellow cards in four Premier League appearances against Manchester United. We're yet to find out his thoughts on blue, yellow and green devils - other colours are available - however.

The 30-year-old was booked twice against Man United as a Fulham player, and he was cautioned for Spurs in their 2-2 draw last November, too.

Football Odds

With the likes of Matheus Cunha, averaging 2.2 fouls won per 90 in the Premier League this season, buzzing around him at Old Trafford on Saturday, don't be surprised to see the Portugal international go into the book again here.

Tomas Soucek (Burnley vs West Ham United, Sat 15:00) @ 18/5

This could be a real scrappy affair at Turf Moor on Saturday, with West Ham United looking to extend their advantage on Burnley, just a place below them in 19th and desperately trying to keep in touch, to eight points with a win.

Irons midfielder Tomas Soucek could prove crucial to helping the East Londoners leave Lancashire with all three points.

Premier League Odds

The 30-year-old is a big, physical presence in the middle of the park, and he certainly throws his weight around, as evidenced by his collection of 15 yellow cards over the last couple of seasons.

He's only picked up one yellow and one red in 2025/26, but only 10 of his 21 appearances have come as a starter, and he's averaging 1.9 fouls per 90.

Burnley midfield counterparts Lesley Ugochukwu and Florentino Luis, meanwhile, are averaging 1.3 and 1.6 fouls per 90, respectively, so there are a couple of players who could lure the Czech Republic international into a yellow-card challenge on Saturday.

Jefferson Lerma (Brighton & Hove Albion vs Crystal Palace, Sun 14:00) @ 6/4

Seagulls are annoying, aren’t they? You see one and spend the rest of your day in fear that one might swoop down on you and steal something.

Well, Crystal Palace midfielder Jefferson Lerma doesn't appear to be a fan of them, either, as he has been booked three times against the Seagulls, twice for his former club, AFC Bournemouth, and once for his current side.

The 31-year-old was shown a yellow card in November’s reverse fixture, a goalless draw at Selhurst Park, for arguing, although he had also committed two fouls earlier in the game.

Today's Football Fixtures

Lerma, who is averaging 1.5 fouls per 90 in the Premier League this season, has been a regular in referee notebooks since moving to England in 2018, picking up 52 yellow cards and one red, and five of the former have come in 2025/26.

On Sunday, the Colombian is likely to be tasked with locking down Brighton playmaker Georginio Rutter, who is averaging 1.7 fouls won per 90 in the Premier League this season.

One wrong move, and Lerma could be seeing yellow, which, gratingly for the fashionistas of the world, might clash with the Eagles’ gold kit, should they don such a shirt on Sunday.
