Friday Greyhound Tips: It’s all eyes on Romford

Three from the London Road circuit Romford this evening on an action-packed twelve-race card featuring racing over two, four and six-bend distances. At 19:33 heat one of the Rosebowl can go to the Paul Burr-trained middle seed BACON FRAZZLES, who lines up from T5.

The August 2022 daughter of Dorotas Wildcat is a credit to her owners and trainers with fifteen wins from eighty-three starts at Romford. In recent weeks, Bacon Frazzles has run against the likes of Tiffield Tarquin, Inca Lewie and Lets Go Girl and has run well with one victory recorded last month in 35.41.

Tonight, it's all about avoiding a bump at the first bend and turning in a pitch to challenge, do that and its race on. Farney Millie (T4) has a chance on Romford debut and is worth noting in the market. Bubbly Amber (T2) bolted up last time out over course and distance, winning by thirteen lengths in 35.66. She would be a runner if she pops out and grabs the rails at lid rise

Heat two of the Category Three Rosebowl at 19:53 can go to INCA LEWIE from T3. The Nathan Hunt-trained Monmore raider is in flying form with two quick-away-made-all victories in recent weeks over this six-bend 575-metre trip at Romford recorded in 35.27 and 35.12.

All eyes on the break, if Inca Lewie brings his trapping boots and leads round again, he will prove very hard to beat. Izzys Tenpin (T2) is a class act and rates as the main danger. The John Mullins-trained Royal Hotshot (T4) returns to action this evening following a four-week layoff with a cough. She will be a huge runner with a ping break. Alright Patricia (T6) will be flying home off the last bend looking to grab a qualifying place for next week's final.

1 pt 21:13 Romford – Bubbly Crusader (T5) @ SP

The third and final selection from Romford this evening is BUBBLY CRUSADER, who runs from T5 in the Friday Night 500 Maiden final over the four-bend 400-metre trip.

Last week in the heats of this competition, Bubbly Crusader laid down a huge marker with a three-length victory recorded in 23.91 following a flashy 3.68 sectional, a repeat of that would make him the one to beat this evening.

That was Bubbly Crusader’s first competitive run since mid-February, so he should strip fitter for that outing and will likely go off at short odds to land this Maiden competition. False Step (T4) missed the break in the heats last week then showed nice pace throughout to grab a qualifying spot.

The lightly raced middle seed looks the main danger and is worth noting in the market. Patricias Gift (T3) is a consistent A1 performer around Romford and could be worth including in forecast bets at a price.
