Wednesday Greyhound Tips: Joy at Dunstall Park?

Today's Greyhound odds

1 pt 18:42 Dunstall Park – Tantalising Joy (T1) @ SP

Three selections from Dunstall Park this evening on a competitive twelve race card with action over two and four-bend distances at the Wolverhampton venue. At 18:42 look out for TANTALISING JOY, who lines up from T1 for trainer Kate Harrison. Last time out, the September 2023 daughter of Malachi turned handy and hit the front at halfway and powered clear to win by over three lengths in 29.07.

That run was in A7 company. Tonight Joy runs in A5 grade, so the Racing Manager has hit her with a double penalty, but she’s well-drawn and, with a level break and clear run, she can double up and win again for connections. Mid Tipp Lucy is a consistent performer in this grade and rates as the main danger from T4. Ohtheresally (T5) has some solid graded form at Nottingham and is an interesting runner on what will be only her third competitive run at Dunstall Park. She’s worth noting in the market.

1 pt 19:16 Dunstall Park – Headford Tommy (T4) @ SP

The A8 graded race at 19:16 over the four-bend 480-metre trip can go to Simon Deakin-trained debutant HEADFORD TOMMY who lines up from T4. In a race lacking early pace, May 2024 pup Tommy has a chance to lead round and once on the bunny, he’s open to plenty of improvement. Recent 30.29, 30.20 and 30.17 trials make him competitive in A8 and with the chance of youngster leading round for the first time, he’s worth a small play.

Brosna Pine (T3) will be staying on well and could be worth including in forecast bets. Bluntys Blue Eye (T5) has enough early pace to turn with Headford Tommy and rates as a danger.

1 pt 20:07 Dunstall Park – Blackrock Ted (T3) @ SP

The third and final selection from Dunstall Park this evening is BLACKROCK TED who runs from T3 in the A3 graded race at 20:07. The Neil Slowley-trained railer is a very consistent A2 and A3 performer and is often there or thereabouts at the finish. The last victory recorded was back in December with seven runs since, but that doesn’t tell the whole story, with Ted running well in all of those races.

Tonight, in a race lacking early pace, Blackrock Ted can turn level and then hit the front out of the second bend, granted a clear run, Ted can kick for home and prove hard to beat. On the bunny, Ted is a 28.82 type of performer, a repeat of that would see him take this. Lightly raced Noels Quest (T4) is worth noting in the market. The October 2023 son of Run Happy was highly tired in 2025, running in open race action at Tralee and Dunstall Park. Off the track from September until mid-March, Noels Quest should be approaching peak fitness now following two course and distance runs and major market support could prove significant.
