1 pt 15:11 Doncaster – Droopys Trendy (T1) @ SP
Twelve races take place at Doncaster this afternoon with action over two and four-bend distances. At 15:11 look out for the James Gaskin-trained railer DROOPYS TRENDY, who lines up from T1. The lightly raced September 2024 daughter of King Sheeran has started as the race favourite on all of her five runs to date, with one victory recorded in 28.23 when leading round and making all.
Slow starts have hampered the pup recently, but she's learning on the job, and, with a level break, Droopys Trendy can turn with the pace this afternoon and hit the front down the back straight. Balymacken Eske (T3), trained by Debbie Calvert, looks the likely leader and rates as the main danger. Footfield Nala (T6) looks well-drawn as the solo wide seed in the race and can grab the forecast spot late on.

1 pt 15:49 Doncaster – Sandwood Annie (T3) @ SP
The A3 graded race at 15:49 over the four-bend 483-metre trip can go to the James Gaskin kennel again with SANDWOOD ANNIE looking a solid play from T3. Well-drawn with a vacant box in T2, Annie has a chance to lead round and once on the bunny, she’s a 30.24 type of performer over this course and distance and a repeat of that sort of time will make her very hard to beat.
As ever, the key is the break and run into the first bend, trap well and its race on. Ballymac Mel (T5) is a consistent A3 performer with a seven from forty-one record in the grade, and she will be staying on well off the final bend looking to challenge late on. Transfer Girl (T6) won in impressive fashion over course and distance last time out, clocking 30.56. The November 2023 daughter of Ballymac Anton has previously recorded 30.22 back in February and would be a danger to all with a ping break.

1 pt 16:26 Doncaster – Trewmount Lady (T1) @ SP
Next up at Doncaster is the B3 graded race over the four-bend 450-metre trip. All eyes will be on TREWMOUNT LADY, who looks plotted up in T1 with T2 vacant and kennelmate Keefill Selene in T3 keeping middle. Following seventeen runs in B2 grade on the bounce, the Racing Manager finally gave Trewmount Lady an ease in grade last week, but the June 2021 daughter of Good News finished second following a bump at the first bend.
Today, with a plot draw to work from Trewmount Lady can hold her pitch, rail well and lead off the second bend and once on the bunny this should be all over bar the shouting, because she sees the trip out strong. Keefill Iris in T5 rates as the main danger, especially if she pops out and attempts to lead middle to wide. Dark Eddie from the Susan Watson kennel in T6 can chase the selection home and grab the forecast spot late on.
