Thursday Greyhound Tips: Club Dream fancied at Suffolk Downs

Today's Greyhound Odds

1 pt 18:04 Suffolk Downs – Stonepark James (T1) @ SP

All eyes on Suffolk Downs this evening with eight graded races taking place with action over two, four and six-bends. At 18:04 in the A3 graded race over the four-bend 388 metre trip, look out for well-drawn railer STONEPARK JAMES from T1. The Paul Rea-trained June 2024 son of Coolavanny Hoffa is three from four in this grade and looks plotted up this evening to win again.

In a race full of early pace, the key will be what happens at the boxes. If Stonepark James traps in best fashion and holds the rails, he can lead round and kick for home. Once on the bunny, Stonepark James is capable of dipping below 24 seconds, a repeat of that should see him take this. Roseville Chic (T3) is in fine form with two course and distance wins on her card in March. The March 2024 daughter of Pestana bolted up in A6 and then A4 and now finds herself lining up in A3 company for the first time.

1 pt 18:39 Suffolk Downs – Club Dream (T3) @ SP

At 18:39 look out for CLUB DREAM who runs from T3 in the D4 graded sprint over the two-bend 220-metre trip. Last time out on two-bend debut, the July 2024 youngster missed the break when sent off as the 8/15 favourite and could only finish fourth. A line can be put through that run and, with a smart break this evening, the lightly raced Paul Rea-trained railer can lead round and make all.

Over four-bends, Club Dream showed she has blistering early gears. If she brings her trapping boots this evening this could be all over bar the shouting by time they get to the first bend. Shrewd Mac (T6) can chase the selection home and fill the forecast spot. Chamuda (T1) is on the comeback trail following a spell off the track lame. She will be staying on well and could be worth including in forecast bets if sent off at fancy prices.

1 pt 19:31 Suffolk Downs – Tommys Rory (T2) @ SP

The third and final selection from Suffolk Downs this evening is well-drawn railer TOMMYS RORY who runs from T2 in the A7 graded race at 19:31. Last time out, the January 2024 son of Iconic Rory bolted up in A8 company with a quick-away-made-all success in 24.48. Tonight, with a vacant box on his inside strengthening claims Rory looks plotted up to lead round and make all again.

Flyhigh Orthrus (T3) is often slow away and will keep middle. Skytrain (T4) can pop out on occasions but will keep middle to wide, which in turn, could hamper Savana Frenchy in T5. The main danger could well prove to be Solo (T6), who is a kennelmate of the selection Tommys Rory. The former Yarmouth-based runner is yet to win at Suffolk Downs but would have come on plenty for two recent outings following a layoff from September. Market support would prove significant and hint that a big run is expected.
