Friday Greyhound Tips: Trap2Line’s picks from Romford and Sunderland

Trap2Line, our resident greyhounds tipster, is back on Friday to deliver his best bets from across the day's action across the UK. 

Romford and Sunderland provide the two runners he is most keen about and you will find his Friday Greyhound Tips below.

20:36 Romford - T6 (Tiffield Tarquin) @ SP

We come back to the scene of some of our recent impressive performances, not so good once we missed the break last week at Yarmouth when really fancied but a return to this track and trip is a massive positive and the draw tonight can help us pace up and make all.

How I see this 575m staying open panning out… 

T1 has been in good form so far since stepping up to this trip and definitely more to come, good draw this evening and rates the main danger to us if we don't come away. 

T2 does like the rails and could come together with T1 at the opening bend as both split times are similar, overall a few lengths off some of tonight's runners in a clean race but could hold others up which can help us go further clear.

T3 has been on and off the card since august, came back with second-placed efforts over course and distance last month but then off again, may well need this tonight and will be edging mid to rails on the run up and during the race so not much space on inner for inside three rivals.

T4 poor draw for this railer and will turn left at trap rise, will look for the inside on the run up and first bend but could cause more trouble in doing that manoeuvre.

T5 won well when stepping back up to this trip last week, not the quickest early doors and we can lead this runner more importantly tonight, with the trouble that will be going on inside this runner can stay on for second place this evening. 

So to us in T6, perfect draw to break well, lead round bend 1 and kick really far clear, trouble in behind will mean we kick further clear and T5 can stay on into 2nd place. Very confident of a victory this evening.

19:41 Sunderland - T3 (Slingshot Gazza) @ SP

We were very unlucky last week in the classic having been drawn far too wide out and that resulted in very bad trouble, we still showed pace in the race and to me this race is easier tonight and we can get back onto a winning note with an all the way victory. 

How I see this 450m open race being run… 

T1 Pelaw raider has been running well in open class recently but hasn't been here since august when running a couple of good races, good draw on the rails and could come into this race if there is early crowding.

T2 has a tad more early pace than T1 and will be looking for the fence on the run up and may come together with that rival leaving the door open for us to pace up and clear the inner.

T4 edges off on the run up, mixes two and four-bend races, and does have some good early pace, could be dangerous if pinging the lids but I think our all round pace will be too much for this runner. 

T5 interesting Irish runner, will need to be above average to challenge us but does bring some good Limerick form to the table, lack of a recent look will mean this runner may swing off at the bend and we can go on from that point. 

T6 unbeaten record in this country since arriving from Ireland and some good trials here in preparation for tonight's race, good draw on the outside and could be a danger to us because of the draw alone, this will be a good race. 

So to us in T3, we will appreciate this middle draw, any repeat of our trials and this will be our race to lose, we can have more space than it seems on the run up and we can pace up and rail this field off at the bend before kicking on for an impressive victory.
