21:28 Nottingham - T3 (Droopys Suprstar) @ SP

We return to this course tonight. This dog currently sits at four wins from five here so we know this runner likes the terrain. We also seem to have fared well in the draw this evening.

T1 is a massive danger to us as drawn this evening. Another runner on tonight's card that comes here without a trial and that can be the deciding factor this evening. More noted recently running over six bends but does have good form over four bends at a multitude of tracks. Hasn't won since May which is another negative but will 100% give us most to think about tonight.

T2 is a Doncaster runner who used to race in Ireland. Form since landing in the UK isn't great and to me will struggle this evening.

T4 is a very consistent local who has run some excellent races in defeat and time wise has a chance this evening. The only thing I don't like is his starts as he's normally slowly away. Also tonight's draw isn't great. He's well away from his beloved rails. So with both those factors in mind I can't see this runner gaining a clear passage this evening. This one will struggle.

T5 has a poor draw and will be looking to edge across on the run up as they normally run more mid to rails. T4 will need to look lively at the traps and also we will need to do the same. Form not great and likely to be a big price for tonight's contest.

T6 is an out and out stayer. Good draw but up against it this evening and will be outpaced for the majority of tonight's race. I can't see this one landing any kind of blow if this race is cleanly run.

So to us in T3, we should have the pace to lead the inside pair. If we lead and go round I see a dominant victory. A lot of tonight's field, namely T1 and T2, will swing off at bend one due to no look here. We really need to be clear by that point to avoid the aggro. I am very confident of a big run and make this runner my bet of the day.

21:45 Nottingham - T3 (Born Scooby) @ SP

English debut tonight, ex-Kilkenny runner who has had a few trials in preparation for tonight's contest. From what I've seen in those trials this is a dog blessed with early pace and looking at tonight's field this is an excellent opportunity to start off his English career with a win.

T1 is another runner with a good Irish card, this time at Shelbourne Park. What is a big negative for this runner is the fact he comes here tonight without a look or trial. Nottingham is a hard track to run first time up and runners normally swing off at first bend. I can see this runner doing that tonight. English form both at Towcester and Yarmouth is ok, nothing that makes me think this runner is a world beater. But will still be the main danger to us this evening

T2 is a slow to go graded type. This A2 runner won last time out running a PB in the process. This is a lot harder but does have track and course and distance knowledge so that is a positive. I just feel could come up a few lengths short this evening.

T4 has mixed short four bend races here with six bend races at Yarmouth and Romford and even an eight bend race at Romford last week. On that note form hard to weigh up. Will this runner have the pace to cope with this step back in trip? I feel for majority of the race this runner will be run off her paws and will be nearest at the finish. Could benefit from a crowded race to be able to land a telling blow tonight.

T5 is another runner that comes here with no look. Some solid form at Sunderland and other tracks. Again a six bend type dropping in trip tonight. I personally see this runner being one of the outsiders for tonights contest.

T6 is another Yarmouth graded raider, top grade and a sub 28 second runner for the 462m which is quick. Win record not that good since coming over from cork and with again no trial may struggle this evening.

So to us in T3, benefit of a look will help this evening against a field of staying types and dogs that have never been here so I do see a trap to line victory as drawn, very confident of a win this evening on debut.
