15:47 Sheffield T4 (Point of Glory) @ SP

We arrive for this A2 race in good form after some solid runs at Nottingham before returning here last week where we were backed into odds on over course and distance and only found one to good. Better run expected today and I personally make this race a match with T1 and us.

How I see this 509m A2 race being run…

T1 unbeaten here and is 3/4 in lifetime runs, time wise has a little to find with us but you can't argue with form and wins, coming up through the grades currently and is 2/2 in this A2 grade, this is harder and we are the strongest challenge to this runners unbeaten streak.

T2 starts and stays as mixed both four and six-bend races, may out trap a few here but get caught for early pace before staying on off the last, really needs a crowded/held up race to get involved, I don't see that this afternoon.

T3 has this race been run back in the summer than this runner would've been vying for favourite today, however form has tailed off since and has just returned to the track after a slight niggle. Will probably need this after a no show over the shorter four-bend trip last week.

T5 vacant which will mean we get more room on the run up.

T6 very solid and consistent A2 performer is always there or thereabouts, time wise will have a bit to find in a clean run contest, has won two from last three so is in good form, this is just a harder A2, good draw though.

So to us in T4, our first point of call is to lead T3,  our chance improve greatly if/when we do that, split wise we have the edge on our main danger on the inside and if leading by the bend we will be too quick after recording a very quick open race time over 500m at Nottingham recently, we can lead this race and kick right away for a good win. Solid choice.

17:49 Hove - T1 (Underground Arlo) @ SP

English debut this afternoon after arriving from Clonmel, we have trialled in three times here, twice over 285m and once over today's course and distance. From what I've observed this trip and draw will be ideal and we can pace up on the rails and control this race from the front.

How I see this 500m maiden being run…

T2 poor grade at Monmore before lay off and has returned to open class at Romford/Oxford and here last week over the sprint trip, only won a handicap so far so will need to improve a chunk to get involved today.

T3 will edge left on the run up and then swing off at the bend, this local runner is pretty consistent trapping wise along with overall end times and can make that experience tell today, will strip fitter for last weeks run with it being first run since august and if we get held up or don't come away this runner may take advantage.

T4 another ex-Irish runner this time from Galway, numerous trials and a couple of races here, no chance first start when hampered nearly everywhere, last time has a clear run and didn't pick up as expected. Does have some quick trial times here and is another that may take advantage if we don't come away or get held up.

T5 completely different draw to last week, was drawn T3 and edged middle to rails on the run up, moved out to T5 today and I'm unsure if that will suit and I can see this runner edging left all the way up the run up, this may have a knock on effect for the runners on his inside. All trials were for the inside boxes so it's a head scratcher why he has been moved this far away from rails.

T6 vacant box.

So to us in T1, the ideal launchpad inside slow starter, we can pace up and rail this field off at the initial bend, once we do that we can kick clear and avoid/miss all the trouble in behind and go on to record our first victory on these shores at the first attempt. Very confident if a big run.
