18:53 Newcastle - Dunelm Rocket (T2) @ SP
English debut this evening after arriving here from Dundalk, one sprint trial and a couple of 480m trials so far, and has done well. Missed the up in final trial last week and will need to break better this evening but my eyes are drawn to the 4.57 split on first try at 480m - any repeat of that, and this runner will be quickly clear and be recording an all the way victory.
How I see this A3 race panning out:
T1 usually slowly away, can give us a good run early doors in this contest, has been sent off a well-supported favourite in last three runs so better was expected, nothing I saw in those three runs makes me want to back this runner tonight.
T3 will move more mid to wide on the run up and give us lots of space on his inside, form wise has one really good line of form three runs back but that came from a ping break, normally slower away than that and I see us leading both T1 and this runner wary on in this race tonight.
T4 been off for a few weeks, prior to short layoff had won three of last four runs over course and distance, a good time that would be competitive tonight back at the end of September, but fitness taken on trust returning from a little niggle, not for me tonight.
T5 ex Towcester runner, also a downgrade from grader today, very consistent on the clock but likely to have to come from last to first tonight and we can get first run and avoid the trouble behind.
T6 won in the grade last week but time nothing special and this A3 is a lot harder and have some in-form rivals so I don't see a repeat of that win.
So to us in T2, great draw inside a pair of slow starters, with T3 edging off we are going to have lots of room to pace up and clear this field by bend one, our sprint pace to kick clear and we should have a few lengths in hand off the last bend. T5 will be finishing with a rattle so wouldn't want that runner to turn second behind us. Either way a very solid choice for a big run.

20:31 Monmore - Droopys Moose (T5) @ SP
We arrive here in good form both over course and distance and on our travels at Pelaw, a nice downgrade this evening that will suit us well and we can be too strong for tonight's field coming through in the second half of the race to win going away, as we are a strong running performer.
How I see this S3 over 630m being run:
T1 bit of an unknown over this distance to be fair as has no form or trial over this far, nothing has suggested in his four-bend races that this 630m will suit, so a watching brief advised by myself.
T2 similar comments to T1 in regard to no form or run over this trip, has been in good form over four bends winning last twice and particularly impressive on the eye latest, this is a different ball game though and will struggle to contain us late on in this contest.
T3 made Favourite last week and blasted clear in a similar contest, weakened late in and reeled in close home by a strong finisher. Again, I see a similar story this evening, should lead the inside runners but won't be able to hold us round the final two bends.
T4 consistent sort, another that has recently been dropped to this S3 grade and could rate our main danger as may get first run at the leader tonight, better starter than we are and could be handier than usual and we will need to keep an eye as to where this runner turns as we will need to come from behind this runner to win tonight.
T6 had this race been run in August then this runner would probably have been my selection as that time he was running exceptionally well, since then however not so great, and again, can be run out of this contest in the latter stages.
So, to us in T5, we will be finishing with a wet sail and are very strong and have exceptional chasing pace, jury is still out as to whether we concentrate fully once getting to leaders but I do see a field of apparent non stayers and we can basically come from last to first and win going away. Confident choice.
