Friday Greyhound Tips: Trap2Line closes out the week with Swindon and Romford tips

What a feeling! At last, we are dancing on Friday's ceiling. I hope you emptied your pockets. Someone who always has a tip or two in his pocket is Trap2Line, our resident Lionel Richie of the races.

Trap2Line has Swindon and Romford in his crosshairs today. Read on for his Daily Greyhounds Tips.

T4 (Ballymac Connery) 17:31 Swindon @ SP

Quite unfortunate on debut when travelling well. But ran green down the far side and ended up being crowded halfway when making headway. Will have learnt from that and is in a similar race this afternoon.

T1 won last week in the same grade and is very consistent on times. Does keep a good level of form in this grade, always seems to go off a big price too. Good draw on rails.

T2 is the inside runner and has better early pace. This one's overall times are faster and has been in a higher grade than she faces today. has a record of 4/10 so 40% win ratio in the grade which is fair. But I can't see her gaining a clear run today.

T3 has been off for a while. Good trial three weeks ago but was made a non runner two weeks ago. No run since so fitness taken on trust. Split times suggest she will be slowly away and that can lead to trouble.

T5 is a grade dropper. Not running well in A3 and times recently have been poor. This is a strong A4 race and I can't see this runner getting involved.

T6 vacant 

So to us in T4, loads of promise last week in debut after a slow start. Caught the eye for me and we have a better draw. Will have learnt a lot from that and can come forward and win and leave this grade behind. Strong selection.

T2 (Aero Pepinillo) 20:54 Romford @ SP

Last time out over course and distance we were visibly unlucky as early trouble cost us ground and momentum. We could reel in the leader after that. Better drawn tonight and a far better run expected.

T1 represents our main danger tonight. But I think we gain first run which will be crucial. This dog has some good overall form, whether that be at Hove or at Towcester. Poor draw in T4 last week and missed the break. Massive danger to us if breaking better this evening.

T3 boasts a few flashy times at Hove and has good early pace. Normally drawn out wide so will be edging off on the run up and at the first bend. This is the first time this dog has been to the track so may struggle.

T4 has the back class of the race and does run well here. Not in the same type of form as last year currently and will struggle to overcome a big bump from T3 on the run up. 

T5 is another Hove raider and prefers a middle course. I don't see much room for the middle runners and there could be crowding as a result.

T6 has a nice draw tonight but is not quick enough overall to trouble the inside pair. Will be staying in and if it is a bunched/crowded race could take advantage late on. I don't see that and I feel this runner will be outpaced the majority of tonight's race.

So to us in T2, looking at form I feel we will just outpace T1 to the bend and gain the rails. Once we do that we can kick in from that point for an impressive win. We have 4-5 lengths in hand of T1 from last week's runnings so I'm confident we can win tonight.
