It's Friday. Bloody Friday. A beautiful day for some greyhounds action. Trap2Line has some mysterious ways, but we take a lot of pride (in the name of love) in his selections.

So if you still haven't found what you're looking for, the sweetest thing you can do is read on. Trap2Line has picked out two dogs who won't be running to stand still.

20:01 Romford - T2 (Crafty Soprano) @ SP

English debut for this Dundalk runner. Two trials here and we have broken 24 seconds both times which is impressive. We also seemed to run the second trial better being drawn closer to the rails so our pitch/draw. Tonight is perfect for a big run.

he key to our race is clearing T2 as she isn't used to being drawn on the rails. May edge off a true line on the run up, meaning we are going to have to be on our toes to avoid early crowding. We lead this one and it's our race to lose. So the first 100m is where this race will be won or lost.

T3 will edge more mid-to-wide than mid-to-rails which is good news for us. This runner is used to being drawn wider out. Form-wise will need to improve a few lengths to figure in the finish tonight.

T4 rates our main danger. Overall times are very competitive it's just currently this dog has no draw being out of T2. Has been drawn wide these last couple of weeks and tonight is drawn in the middle. This leaves me unsure what this runner will do on the run up. I would prefer to turn handy and be in-front of our danger as this one runs on strongly. I wouldn't want to have to back run him.

T5 has a poor draw and I do see crowding between all three middle runners. This dog will edge to the middle initially as the traps open. All his Central Park races have seen him drawn nearer to the rails. Runs more mid-to-rails so will be looking at coming across.

T6 has the best draw in the race but has not come up to this class so far. Romford sprint form, bar last week, has not been quick enough to lay up with this field. Likely be the outsider tonight.

So to us in T2, we should have space to pace up, with T3 edging off. Our race will be to beat T1 to the bend. We bring some very quick sprint form from Ireland and can use that early pace to go round handy and pull clear for an impressive first victory on these shores. Confident choice.

22:04 Sunderland - T4 (King Bono) @ SP

We would've finished a lot closer last week, in a race that was ostensibly better than tonight's, last week had it not been for a bump at first bend. I expect a clearer run and a comprehensive victory as drawn this evening.

T1 has an unfamiliar draw on the fence tonight. This will mean trouble for the runners on her outside, as she is liable to drift to the middle of the track on the run up. If holding position to the bend, I can see this one swinging off and causing carnage. 4 bend form and times not that great and drop to 2 bends far from ideal so not for me

T2 has a perilous draw this evening as T1 will edge right and the reserve in T3 will edge left on the run up. T2 could be the meat in the sandwich. Won well over four bends last week but I can't see this one having the early pace to lay up with us.

T3 already a reserve in this race, more noted for four bends. Far from running so not sure this distance will suit. Big price and woeful run last week over this 261m trip. Will need to come in a bundle to figure tonight.

T5 has better early than the four bend runners. Will stay middle on the run up, giving us space to operate. Boasts some decent times over four bends and if we don't come away, this runner or the one on the outside may take advantage.

T6 is a very consistent runner, has good early and always runs well over both two and four bends. I rate her as our main danger on draw alone, being the only wide seed. If we get held up the runner can come round the field and win.

So to us in T4, on paper it looks like we are the only true sprinter in the line up and that bodes well. It will mean we have the early pace to dominate tonight. Inside runners can ruin each other's chances with crowding. We can go to the bend in the lead and just pull further clear. I rate this runner as my bet of the day.
