15:29 Towcester - Fabulous Naomi (T3) @ SP
This pup has been very unlucky in two runs so far; both times he was badly crowded at the first bend when in a challenging position, and again, the grade has given us a chance in this, and we can make it third time lucky.
How I see this D4 sprint being run:
T1 was a no-show in a pair of D3 races after winning a D4, so rightly so, the grader drops her back to a winning level. I can see this runner being prominent throughout today, but we can come through off the last bend to win going away, with this runner being second.
T2 is a similar profile to T1, in regards to bouncing from D3 back to D4, and overall profile in this grade reads 5/15, so 33% strike rate, knows how to win in this grade, but I feel both this runner and T1 could spoil each other's chances at the bend.
T4 vacant.
T5 poor form so far for this pup since coming into the card, times are skittish, way off these, and will be the likely outsider today.
T6 managed to win a D3 three runs back, and that is the best form on offer. Last time in this grade went off 11/10 and also won, could be a danger with a good draw outside to work from, and if the race becomes held up or crowded, then this runner could come through late.
So back to us in T3, off a level break we can pace up and clear these runners by the bend, if we go round we will just kick on and go further away to land our first victory. Confident choice.

18:46 Star Pelaw - Yates (T3) @ SP
Very interesting runner stepping up in trip tonight, has been campaigning mostly over four bends but looked worth a try at the distance, staying on strongly late on in races, and this 590m could be perfect.
How I see this six-bend open race being run:
T1 Central Park raider in good form over 491m and went quick in an A5 latest running with a time that would win an A2 race. Will be heavily penalised for that run when running back at Central Park, as for form here, this runner has none and hasn't been over this far in a long while. To me, will struggle against a few of tonight's runners.
T2 is our main danger, and if she repeats the 36.17 time last time over this course and distance, then she will be a hard nut to crack, but not been in that same form since, although that was back at Newcastle, and we can take advantage of that this evening.
T4 is a lowly four-bend grader and was a real no-show in two six-bend runs, both finishing times are a little way off what I think tonight's winning time will be, of around 36.20-36.30, and I can't see this runner improving that much.
T5 has two and four-bend form here, but nothing over further. He did win a 480m race at Limerick prior to coming to the UK, but nothing in races so far has suggested he will be in the mix tonight and is likely to go off one of the outsiders.
T6 could be dangerous if gaining an uncontested lead on the outside, has the split times to do that, but visually doesn't stay this far at full racing pace, has weakened rounding the final two bends the last couple of times at this distance, and I can see the same again tonight with us coming through in the second half of the race.
So to us in T3, a lot of potential for this trip, has stayed on strongly all races here at Pelaw and is worth a try at this trip, staying not guaranteed, but has been in my notebook for some time with the quote 'step up to six bends', so let's see if I am right. Confident choice this evening.
