21:23 Monmore - T1 (Amazing Zeus) @ SP
Very interesting runner coming back on the card this evening after a month off, trialled in at hove the last twice and recorded some quick times, rails pitch this evening to control this race from the front.
How I see this one-off 630m open race being run:
T2 - Very slow to go runner can give us a start this evening and make sure we get round first bend unscathed, this runner will attempt to close in the second half of this race but the winner will already be too far clear.
T3 - Ex-Irish Shelbourne stayer over 686m hasn't been that far since being in the UK racing mainly over 450m at Oxford, trialled in here over 480m last week and ran ok, but I think we will get first run on the inside, if we don't and this one leads out it could be game on and we could struggle to pick this runner up.
T4 - Prefers a draw closer to the rails and will edge left on the run to first bend, held every chance in a similar contest last week.
T5 - Has been over two and four bends here so does have experience from this set of traps, however form wise is a little off the rest of the field and may find numerous runners too quick today.
T6 - Been off for a while and first run back tonight and that can tell in the second half of the race not being race fit, so may show up for a few bends but weaken late on.
So to us in T1, lots going for him, good draw, and can boss this race from the front, danger in T3 but we can gain first run on that runner, very solid selection that is my bet of the day.

19:16 Hove -T2 (Shadow Storm) @ SP
Ran as though he needed a draw closer to the fence last week, this pup has burst into the sprinting scene with an unbeaten run through a Towcester sprint comp and was unlucky not to beat T4 last week, can gain compensation from a better draw tonight.
How I see this open sprint being run:
T1 - Very quick bitch and is 2/7 over course and distance, 2/4 in trap 1, I do feel we need to gain first run on this runner to have the best possible chance and if we was drawn the other way round I would've made us a max bet, T1 runs consistently and will be right up there, a bit off top level in a clear run race and a few lengths off us compared to our trial times
T3 - Ran well last week and to be fair always runs well, I feel a few of tonight’s runners are faster than her and I think that will result in crowding
T4 - Beat us last week after a ping break, not sure to repeat that this evening, does have his draw but to me will struggle to land a blow.
T5 - Won last week but would be much shorter had this race been run at Central Park, good time last week but I can't see this one laying up with us or T6 tonight.
T6 - Very quick sprinter dropped down from four bends, exceptional early pace and does have a good draw tonight and if we don't come away this runner will take advantage.
So to us in T2, we are one of the quickest two-bend runners in the country and I can see us pacing up and beating both T1 and T3 to the bend. That will be crucial, we do that and we can kick in for an impressive win. Confident selection.
