21:18 Oxford - Aero Pepinillo (T2) @ SP

AERO PEPINILLO makes his English debut tonight. He trialled very well at Romford and here last week, stopping the clock at 26.56 on first look. He should improve plenty for that and ought to take a bit of beating tonight.

T1 rates our main danger and it's imperative we get first run on them. They were ran out of it over six bends last week at Central Park and haven't been here before, so may struggle to run the track first time out.

T3 showed good early pace at Hove but failed to land a golden opportunity last week when holding every chance. It's a better race tonight and this one could struggle to hold us on the inside.

T4 posted really good splits last week in practice. Their overall time after that split was disappointing, though, and they'll have to improve to get involved in this company.

T5 is an A1 regular so does have course form, but will need to break 27 seconds to get involved tonight.

The selection has a big reputation from Ireland, boasts form over several trips and has proven versatility in terms of running styles, able to come from behind or lead. This is a very good opportunity on debut against what I feel are inferior rivals.

21:18 Oxford - Winner Aero Pepinillo (T2)

21:24 Shelbourne - Lennies Desire (T6) @ SP

It's the Champion Stakes Final tonight. We did very well to not only qualify but run down the long-time leader last week after very bad crowding at the initial bend. We're drawn better for a solo tonight.

T1 is a fast starter who went deep into the English Derby, but was ultimately unable to hold our strong finish last week. T2 qualified in second but that was a shock as the race got held up. Their previous form is a little off what's required, but they do have quick 480m times so may well tow the field along initially.

In T3 is a strong stayer who will be heading across to the rails as drawn. They might be outpaced at first, but ought to stay on well after the last. Had this been another couple of bends, this one would've been on my radar.

T4 is another with a good draw and rates our main danger. Their early pace is blistering and they could get it their own way. It should be a good buckle between this runner and ours.

T5 will give us room on the outside. He was runner-up at odds-on in his heat last week, but this is stronger opposition and he's likely to be run off his paws.

LENNIES DESIRE is the Towcester track record holder, has a good draw and has all-round pace to be competitive. Solid chance.

21:24 Sherbourne - Winner Lennies Desire (T6)
