Tuesday Greyhounds Tips: Two for tonight, Trap2Line-style …

It's Tuesday - another day that our greyhound expert Trap2Line is on the case, looking for winners. He's insatiable. Here's the theory-bit ...
Greyhound tips - Tuesday, June 10
T5 (Invergarry) 20:41 Swindon @ SP
To me this boils down to a match race with us and T4. I have looked at all the variables and it boils down to course form; where we have the edge.
Yes, T4 has been in strong open races and yes this is our first run over the six bends but our Irish Shelbourne extended six-bend form against a runner that was one of the favourites for the staying competition at Towcester recently bodes really well, and we can get that all-important first run this evening.
How I think the race will play out - T1 is really really slowly into stride and that will put this runner on the back foot early. Average grader over the four-bend trip and will struggle against this field tonight.
T2 is a sprinter that will go well initially from these boxes as the staying event uses the same traps as sprint races, however it struggles to stay four bends and this six-bend trip is very demanding - so will drop away after one lap.
T3 (Towcester raider), ran over six bends at Oxford and didn't show much. That tells me it will be competitive tonight.
T4 is 100% our danger and most likely to go off favourite in this race, different boxes tonight than he has faced before though so may be slowly away and would prefer a draw further out than T4. Will challenge late but I think we get first run.
T6 is slow into stride, average graded runner here over four bends, and likely to be the outsider in this contest.
So, back to us; key will be leading T4, (we should) and that will give us a great chance to land this. We have strong and quick four-bend results and tonight we can stamp our authority and win this staying open by a couple of lengths.
Confident selection.

T1 (Southwind Milo) 21:23 Central Park @ SP
We are very consistent, and even though we haven't won a race since March we have always run well and this recent step back down in grade will suit. A pretty average bunch this evening in opposition, and we can make our back-class tell with a perfectly timed run.
I doubt we will lead but we are very strong; then come home with a wet sail.
How I see the race being run - T2 is not the best at running the bends. Especially bends one and three, and that can help us here. I do think this runner leads us early in this but can tow us into the race as it progresses.
T3 had some solid form at the start of the year but was off since March, only just returning to the track last week. I did expect a quicker time once she got loose but to return with a win is always a good sign, could again lead out, but this race and grade is a lot stronger than A4.
T4 is very consistent on the clock, always around the 30 second mark, did win an A4 a couple of runs ago but has been struggling since upped to this grade - same again tonight methinks.
T5 has a similar profile to us, and this one I rate our main danger this evening. Some good early pace so may lead up or be prominent with T3, overall quicker than T3 but I feel both these leaders set the race up for us.
T6 - poor grade at Romford, did promise more from his qualifying trials but in races here hasn't delivered and will struggle to clear T5 as drawn tonight.
So back to us - our race revolves around the run we get round the opening two bends. We should get a clear with both T2 and T3 being out of our way. I wouldn't want T5 to go clear as that will be a tough one to reel in but I feel with a clear run we will pick the whole field up and win this going away with T5 second-in.
Strong selection.
