Friday Greyhounds Tips: Two to watch from Sunderland and Romford

Our man Trap2Line, is back with his greyhound tips for Friday, May 2.

We're off to Sunderland and Romford for today's selections - read all about them and their chances below.

19:41 Sunderland - Typhoon Tracy (T6) @ SP

I tipped her up last week at Sheffield but got no sort of run on the inside, and looked as if a move to an outside trap would suit better.

We did show lots of pace and promise during the race it just didn't run as expected - looking at this evenings rivals I can't see many dangers and feel we can record our first victory on these shores.

T1 is a local grader stepping up in trip this evening, and their overall form doesn't cry out that this step up will suit.

T2 will edge into T1 path on the run to the first bend so I see a coming together, and as a A4 runner, I don't think they'll have the class to get competitive.

T3 is lowly grade over four bends at Newcastle but does have some strong staying form over six bends in handicaps and open races there.

T4 is another Newcastle raider, but they really need the rails. I do see lots of crowding before the first bend but if this runner did get loose on the front it would take a massive performance to reel her in.

T5 is the quickest of the Sunderland runners over four bends, did run in an open six-bend race a few months back, but was crowded and finished last, so that run could be rendered inconclusive.

20:36 Romford - Mad For Sterling (T6) @ SP

This pick has a fantastic running style and loves it here, but will have to do things the hard way. Chasing pace is something to behold, but does need gaps to open. Will be travelling all over tonight's runners on the second lap of this contest tonight.

T1 will plot draw on the inside and I think will be our main danger if she goes clear and we get held up.

T2 steps back up to six bends this evening and returns here, will look to take the same ground as T1 and could come together with that rival around the first two bends.

T3 crying out for the rails and will struggle to clear the inside and could be the cause of trouble ending in at the first bend. T4 another runner who wants a draw closer to the fence, and will attempt to come over but there will be a lot of traffic in his way, I reckon.

T5 true mid-runner, mixes open races with S1 races, not known for flashy times but is consistent and always runs her race.
