Saturday Greyhounds Tips: Trap2Line delivers his two best bets for the day

Our resident tipster Trap2Line is back with his Saturday Greyhound tips, hoping to build on one of his winners from Friday.

His two picks for Saturday come from Monmore and Hove. Can he deliver some double delight?

21:04 Monmore - T2 (Intriguing Iris) @ SP

Stepped up in trip recently and was very eye-catching last week, winning well over the 660m trip at Perry Barr. Looked as though staying was her game and seems to have been let in lightly here this evening against inferior rivals, none of whom could break 40 seconds for the 660m trip at Perry Barr.

T1 is our main danger in the fact that we will be up our inner throughout the race, but overall times over this trip aren't great and could set the race up for us to come through late. T3's slow-starting railer is going to struggle to allow T1 and us to get the first run. 

T4 winning stayer at the valley, but that form isn't as strong as ours and will struggle as drawn this evening. T6 is only a wide seed and looks to have a good draw on paper but times are too slow to land a blow in this. So back to us, we are young and  strong, will improve throughout the race and challenge by the fifth bend and win this going away.

19:16 Hove - T6 (Bowmers Wildcat) @ SP

Tonight's race is a trial for the upcoming puppy event here, and we have an excellent opportunity to improve on our trial times. We already have some quick times at Monmore and tonight we have a really good race to stamp our authority on this race early.

T1 A3 local, times not great and five-plus lengths slower than us on the outside. T2 is the main danger to us and will crowd up with the inside runner as both need the rails pitch.

I would be concerned if T2 pinged out and led, but I personally can't see that happening. T3’s a true middle runner. Good trial last week for this Central Park raider, if coming on from that could get involved where it matters this evening. 

T4 will be making a beeline for the rails and could cause lots of trouble for the inside runners doing that. T5 a little way off us on Monmore form and crucial split times, we are faster than T5 early and can lead that one up. So what I see is us leading the outside, missing the trouble on the inner and going on to win well. Confident pick.
