Wednesday Greyhounds Tips: Trap2Line picks out two from Yarmouth

Our resident greyhounds tipster, Trap2Line, is back with more Greyhounds Tips as he brings us two selections from Yarmouth on Wednesday.

19:39 Yarmouth - T2 (Rosshill Annie) @ SP

We are a recent Irish recruit from Limerick and just getting to grips with the track and trip, numerous trials and a couple of races in the higher grade with no luck in running in each and we get a welcome downgrade this evening. We will have to look lively early to avoid T1 but we can do that easily and then prove to string overall for this field.

How I see the race being run tonight - T1 another downgraded runner whom I feel will be our main danger and we will need to pace up with this runner going round on the shoulder if not a length behind to have any chance as T1 has similar form to us. T3 will edge a touch right out the traps and give us more space than normal to pace up on the run up, T4 been off properly since late 2023 so a long layoff to overcome but did trial well last week and could be dangerous if leading clear, but I think will weaken off the last as will be short of race fitness. T5 also returning after a layoff so could need this, T6 puppy dropping like a stone through the grades so far and I can't see her getting involved. I think this will be a complete performance from us and we will be too strong off the last to get our first victory here.

A recent Crayford recruit that has been settling into her new surroundings here, having both trialled and raced over course and distance with mixed results so far, I feel tonight's make-up is ideal and we can record our maiden victory here.

How I see the race going - key to our entire race is leading T1 on the run up, on all bar one split time we do that comfortably. We have form over two, four, six and eight bends so very versatile. T3 will be edging off as drawn so we will have acres on the inside to claim the rail early and set our race up. T4 could come together with T3 on the run-up as they will both want each other's ground. T5 won well last week but this is a lot harder and will find it difficult to lay up with these in a clean run contest, T6 has been in poor form and will be the outsider tonight. I feel we pace up follow T3/T4 around, use our middle pace to close by bend three and go on off the last to win going away.
