Tuesday Greyhounds Tips: Two for Tuesday from Trap2Line

All eyes may be on Cheltenham this week, but our resident greyhounds tipster, Trap2Line, is still searching for winners of another four-legged variety, as he brings us two  selections from Swindon.

18:08 Swindon - T2 (Ranchers Bernie) @ SP

Returns to the right grade this evening when last week for some unknown reason the grader put her in an A5 instead of an A8. To be fair she ran really well and recorded a PB in the process, however much more at home in this grade this evening and the make up of the race is perfect.

How I see the race going - it revolves around two bitches T1 and T2. Looking at races and splits, basically T1 leads us out and we follow in behind and we stay on stronger off the last bend to win this going away. I can't for the life of me see any of the other runners getting involved. We are more consistent on times and are in better form. T1 is a pup so could improve but we have six lengths on that runner on last week's evidence alone. Confident pick.

19:49 Swindon - T4 (Southfield Duke) @ SP

We have come back on the card after a layoff and returned in good form, getting stronger and stronger each run. We just about held off the late rally of T1 last week winning by a short head but this evening’s make-up could not be better for us and I will explain below what I mean. Again I see that race as a repeat of last week.

How I see this race panning out - again looking at split times alone we lead and lead clear. For T1, as he isn't that quick into stride he will get held up at points in the race especially the first bend allowing us to kick clear. I could see us being six lengths plus ahead by halfway, there are strong dogs in the race but I feel we will be too far down the road for it to matter, yes the field will be closing off the last but we can hang on to add another win.
