Tuesday Greyhounds Tips: Trap2Line bids for a Swindon double

Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line shares a couple of selections from Swindon on Tuesday.

18:42 Swindon - T4 (Eze) @ SP

Eze returns to the track tonight after a layoff of a couple of months, but has been kept busy with trials over the past four weeks. Readied for this evening's return by recording a sub-15 second sprint trial and a 28.06 over this 476m trip, showing his well-being for tonight's Division A's open race.

T1 has been in good form here and won his last open race well, but their times aren't as quick as what we can do and a 28.49 puts him five lengths behind us here.

T2 mixes it between four and six bends and will be staying on strongly, so if this is a crowded race then that would set things up perfectly for her. I don't envisage that being the case, so her average times mightn't cut it.

T3 has never raced here so is a bit of an unknown quantity. Comparing Hove form, I feel he'll be a little out his depth. T5 has better Hove form and had a look here last week, but trial times were 10 lengths slower than what we posted.

I can see us making all and recording a similar time to our trials, if not quicker. That gives us a solid chance.

20:07 Swindon - T4 (Southfield Duke) @ SP

We drop in trip this evening, from 476m to 262m, and also step down in class.

T1 is better known as a four-bend performer who hasn't raced over this trip since December and then went off at 33/1. Overall, I don't think his two-bend times aren't competitive enough to get involved tonight.

T2 boasts a time or two that brings her into the mix tonight, however her form isn't as strong as others in the field. T3 will be edging across to the rails as soon as the traps open as he is more used to a rails pitch.

T5 rates our main danger. They've recorded four wins from five runs here at Swindon, with that only loss coming over four bends. Has been moved in from T6 to T5 which means they'll be looking for the outside and edging right on the run up, crowding with T6.

That runner will be edging left as traps rise and normally runs into the middle, so I can see both outside runners coming together and spoiling each other's race.

This paves the way for us to break level, pace up and go round handy if not in front. Our open racers class and overall pace should be too much for these and during our last two sprints we recorded 15.10 and 15.36 - both times are too quick for these in my book.

This is a confident selection.
