Saturday Greyhounds Tips: Two to follow at Central Park and Monmore

Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line is back with two more selections from across the UK and has two tips from Central Park and Monmore on Saturday evening.

As always, he gives us his thoughts and reasons behind his chosen runners. Read on to find his Saturday Greyhound Tips.

20:19 Central Park - Jacktavern Ace (T6) @ SP

Steps down in grade tonight from D1 to D2. It doesn't look a big drop but in the context of times, it looks as though we have been let in lightly here against tonight's runners as our overall competitive times put us ahead by a couple of lengths on average.

We have a perfect draw to lead these early, T5 a more mid-to-wide runner and form hasn't been great the last few months. Yes, it was in against open racers but without trouble still the clocking don't match ours.

T4 on back form does have a couple of competitive runs but on the whole has proved disappointing, T3 will be outgraded in this and probably go off the outsider.

T2 is new to this level, T1 is improving recently but pitched in here against some solid top graders. All I see is is pinging and making all - a solid selection.

21:39 Monmore - Romeo Steel (T1) @ SP

Back on the card tonight after a spell on the sidelines, unsure why but can only put it down to a slight niggle. Has trialled in very well and very quick over the sprint trip at Central Park breaking track record in practice. Tonight goes back up to four bends, which on paper against this field looks a tough ask, but when you break the race down we have an excellent opportunity to rerun with a win.

T6 is a massive danger but back form suggests that this track isn't ideal and doesn't bring out the best in him. T5 will be edging across to the middle and has lots of early pace but form nothing special and we should have that one covered.

T4 likes it here but they're not getting any younger - a year or so ago I would've fancied a big run but form has tailed off over last few months. T3 solid form at Hove but that is a big galloping track whereas this track is built for speed dogs. I don't see T3 being quick enough early and trouble looms. Hopefully we can lead T2 early as that does have some early pace and moves off from the trap, so will give us lots of space to pace up and clear these at the bend. Confident selection.
