Thursday Greyhounds Tips: Two to follow from Newcastle and Hove

Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line is back with two more selections from across the UK and will be hoping to land more success for our punters on Thursday.

As always, he gives us his thoughts and reasons behind his chosen runners, with today's picks coming from Newcastle and Hove. Read on to find his Thursday Greyhound Tips.

19:44 Newcastle - Ballymac Lineout (T4) @ SP

Returns to the North East tonight after running in the champion stakes at Romford and being knocked out at the semi-final stage. There's nothing of that calibre in this race tonight, so should make class tell where it matters.

If you trawl through back form, we have decent winning form over course and distance, and we have also broken the elusive 39 seconds for the trip which again stands us in good stead.

Tonight, it's crucial we gain first run on T1 here and rail these off at the bend, the dangers in this will come from T4 and T6, so we really need to lead those early and kick on. If we do lead, our four-bend pace will take us clear, but my eyes will be drawn to where T6 turns as that is very strong at the finish and I wouldn't want that one turning on our shoulder.

20:07 Hove - Move Over Ogie (T2) @ SP

This selection is a step drop in class for me this evening and should use that to win this race well. We will have to look after ourselves initially, but the advantage of being drawn next to T3 is key to our race. All we need is a clear run round first few bends then we are four-to-five lengths quicker than the rest of the field, and we can stretch away for an impressive win.

T3 a slow-starting four-bend railer up our inside, and is going to make sure we have lots of room on the run up to pace up.

Trouble looms for the inside runners as T3 comes across to the rails and I see lots of early crowding which will play into our paws. T6 is our danger and has been in superior form over the four bends but time over this trip shouldn't compare to us in a clean race.

If we do get held up then T6 could miss the trouble and take this, but I see is turning second if not third behind T6 and running that one down in the final two bends.
