Wednesday Greyhounds Tips: Trap2Line’s afternoon treats

Our Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line shares a couple of selections from Nottingham and Sunderland on Wednesday evening - including a confident selection in the Midlands.

14:14 Nottingham - T4 (Seaside Maisie) @ SP

Extremely unlucky last week when badly hampered and stumbling at the first bend, ruining our race early. Had we got round, I'm confident we'd have recorded a personal best.

This looks another good opportunity to lead on the run-up and clear these at the bend. There isn't much early pace, so if breaking like last week I could easily see us being a couple of lengths up before they hit the bend.

T6 has been running in a higher grade and steps back to A4 today, but their form has tailed off since November and on A3s has been going off the outsider each time. T5 hasn't had a clear run for a while and could be dangerous if coming out the same as 14th November when breaking 31 seconds - since then they've suffered crowding at the first and second bends, though.

T3's overall form is poor and he was sent off 20/1 in this grade last time out. I would be surprised if able to land a blow. T2 danger if coming away her best and could challenge us for the lead if we miss a beat at the start. T1 is in terrible form and will be a big price.

I'm confident we can trap out and lead the whole way.

My next selection was backed off the boards on Sunday before the remainder of the meeting was abandoned due to unforeseen circumstances.

The fact he's turned out this quickly shows trainer/owner expect a decent run and again, I see lots of money coming for us this afternoon.

I envisage a dominant performance from an ideal launchpad. Both trials we have moved middle to rails, so I can see us railing the field off at the first bend.

The danger is T2 gaining first run on us, but I can't see that. As for the rest of the field, I can't see them competing in a truly run race. I do see us landing this impressively by a few lengths.
