Sunday Greyhounds Tips: Three to watch from Crayford

Our resident Greyhounds expert, Trap2Line, is back today with his Sunday Greyhounds Tips as he looks to get back to winning ways.

19:33 Crayford - Zsuzsi (T1) @ SP

Visually impressive last week, exceptional middle and late pace that picked another that I tipped up. I rewatched the race and we even got stopped on a couple of occasions. I prefer this move to the rails and I expect this make of tonight race to be perfect for us.

How I see this going: both T2 and T6 being the early pacesetters, which that suits us to be able to get a good tow into the race and a clear run on the rails.

I wouldn't want to be held up at any points but T2 definitely has the legs on us early and could be out the way with T6. T3 and T4 are outgraded in this and look to be making up the numbers, so if we are anywhere near the lead going over the winning line first time, I expect us to get on top and win this.

19:49 Crayford - Integral (T6) @ SP

Interesting runner stepping up to 540m for the first time tonight but does bring top grade/open race four bend form to the table. I revisited his Irish card at Shelbourne before he moved over to these shirts, and he was running 480m as a pup. He's run lots of races here and also lots of races from T6.

How I see the race going: they have T1 as SP favourite and for the life of me I don't know why, as I've watched their last few races. Great pace but won't challenge for the lead, and was woefully slow away at Towcester. I see us leading and making all in this from T6 - very confident selection.

21:16 Crayford - El Tornillo (T3) @ SP

Returns to the track after a slight setback, previously showing really good early and setting track records in four bend races at numerous tracks. Back on the card tonight and dropped to 380m for his return, has trialled in twice at Central Park over the sprint trip, nearly breaking the sprint clock, so I know he has exceptional early pace.

How I see tonight's race going: we can quickly clear this field and stretch away for an impressive victory. If we do lead round, watch the clock, as I feel we can easily break the 23-second barrier for this 380m trip - another confident selection.
