Sunday Greyhounds Tips: Three Sunday selections from Trap2Line

Today's field have all been in and against each other recently with them sharing positions and results, this six-bend trip is ideal for Speechless as is is a strong stayer over six and eight bends. The grade is no problem and this S2 is well within our compass.

How I see this afternoon's race going: The key will be following the pace in T1 and avoiding trouble spots at first and third bend, once we do that we can open up down the back second time and close this field down. T6 is forecast SP favourite but even with trouble last time out, we beat T6 - so a clearer run and I feel we can win this race by lengths.

Has run a couple of races here since moving from Ireland, and hasn’t really produced our trial times in races yet. However, I feel this race in context is a lot easier than we have been facing so I expect a different result.

How I see the race going; We do have lots of early pace and today's field isn't blessed with it, so I think we can trap/pace up and be in control by the time we reach the bend. In sprints at least 95% are won by the dog that turns either first or second and the opening bend, I can see for us this afternoon a trap to line victory.

Returns here after being runner-up in the Eclipse and ran well all rounds there. Slick Sentinel has some really good course and distance form prior to going to Nottingham, breaking 29 seconds on a few occasions, so today looks like a match between us and T1.

How I see the race going: This will be a matter of who leads on the run up, as we have better early pace than T1. I see us pacing up and clearing at the bend, T4 will be moving across into the middle from the traps so we have every opportunity to use our early gears to seize control of this race at the first bend. I feel that T1 will be held up initially and that can mean we stretch away for a nice win.
