Friday Greyhounds Tips: Two selections from Romford and Sunderland

Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line is back with another couple of selections - from Romford and Sunderland - for your consideration on Friday evening.

T6 (Cooladerry Dust) 20:54 Romford @ SP

Grade open race 575m

 Second run back after lay-off and will come on a bundle after being held up initially in the race, some very fast trials at Nottingham and Oxford previously and tonight will be a stepping stone ready for some top-six bend competitions in the next few months.

How I see tonight going, this is a match between us and Trap 3, key to tonight will be getting first run on the danger. On tonight’s draw, Cooladerry Dust has a perfect make up to pace up and clear the field at the bend. Trap 5 hasn’t got much early pace so he should lead him early, Trap 4 runs more mid to rails so will take the ground of Trap 3 on the run up and the first two bends.

By that time, Cooladerry Dust should be clear out wide and if he leads he wins this by multiple lengths in a fast time. To me this is a max bet and so far this month there has only been four so I don’t post them very often, very confident selection.

T6 (Sleeping Millie) 19:08 Sunderland @ SP

Grade A1 450m

Won for us last week and seems to have a similar opportunity tonight, has mixed it between open racing and A1 racing and the overall form looks good for tonight .

How I see tonight’s race going, we have a good draw on the outside and will use that to miss what looks like a lot of trouble on the inside and crowding on turn run up looks inevitable.

Sleeping Millie only really have to out trap and pace up past Trap 5 and we should have a solo out wide I do feel we will be handy off the first bend and challenging for the lead down the back, the cold weather this time of year plays into the paws of the wide seeds and the track runs a lot better outside when it’s cold and icy, I expect a really good run for our money at a nice price.
