Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line lines up a pair of hopefuls from today's early races in Sheffield.

Grade A4 500m

Down in grade this morning but normally very competitive in a higher grade. Sal has form over further so will be staying on strongly and looks to have a really good make-up.

Trap 2 has better early pace than us and should lead the run-up. Trap 3 also has good early so we should get a lovely clear run behind the pace setters. We will be travelling two-for-one over the field coming into final two bends. If the gaps appear we should quickly take over and win this going away.

Grade A8 500m

2023 pup having only our third race here. After two troubled runs we will be looking for a better and clearer outing this morning. Looking at today's field, it feels perfect for exactly that. Dakota has made a quick drop from A7 into A8 and was travelling well down the far-side last time out, before running into trouble and losing all momentum.

Dakota will like this move from Trap 3 to Trap 4. Looking at splits, we can lead Trap 5 up and with Trap 3 moving over to rails it looks as though we can be prominent throughout this race. If we do lead at anytime we can clear a way for our maiden victory.
