Wednesday’s Greyhounds Tips: Our selections are from Sunderland & Yarmouth

Grade A3 450m

Steps back in grade this afternoon after some solid runs (and times) in A2s, finding trouble spots but still running well and being consistent. Has still not won on these shores since moving from Ireland but I feel with the downgrade and make up of today's race it plays into our paws.

How I see today's race going, I make it a 50m dash for us and Trap 1 as to who gets to the bend first on split times alone. I feel we have the edge and pace to clear Trap 1 before the bend. Our chances increase 10 fold when/if we do. Trap 3 will be moving off to the right out the traps as that hound runs more mid to wide and I can see us having acres of space on the inside, enough so I can see us pinging and railing the field off at the bend to go on and win well. Confident selection.

T3 (Swift Engine) 19:39 Yarmouth @ SP

Grade A7 462m

Debut last week and was visibly unlucky being crowded wide 1st and 2nd bend when was going to turn in a pitch. Did run well considering and went into my notebook on the back of that performance as recorded a near PB even with the trouble.

How I see tonight’s race going, we will come on a bundle and granted a better run at the initial bend we can improve by a few lengths and this isn't the strongest of A7s. I can see us turning at least 2nd maybe even 1st, if we do that I see us being too strong before moving onto a higher grade.
