Returns to the card today after running in the St Ledge (and performing in making and running well in the final) small break and trialled in last week over 500m. This is our home track and we have great form over C/D compared to the remainder of the field, overall times do have us clear and stats all lead to us.

How I see this race going: Trap 5 is key to our chances as that will be edging left out the box but does have some decent early pace and I can see us tracking Trap 5 and being too strong late on, Trap 2 COULD be a danger if coming away but has never raced here and Sheffield is a hard track to run 1st time so looking at everything I can’t see is being beat in this granted a clear run.

Strong win last week in the heats for this final and has faired well on this afternoons draw, it’s a competitive race today though so will need to come away.

I see us tracking the pace in Trap 1 and more importantly leading Trap 5 as that has a similar running style to us but crucially we have a tad more early pace, Trap 2 has a poor draw but does bring some good four-bend form into this but has flattered to deceive over this trip so far. We have a 60% strike rate from the Trap and a 100% win ratio in OR3 races. I think we track pace and lead second lap for a comfortable victory.
