Friday Greyhounds Tips: Two more to enter the weekend

19:11 Romford (Grade - Open race 400m) - Trooper Mcevoy (T1) @ SP

Relatively new to these shores but brings over some good form from Shelbourne Park and Limerick. Trialled in last week and flew round course and distance in 23.88 off a 3.66 split. If the pace is anything like this tonight, I can’t see us being beaten.

Looking at make up of tonight’s race there is pace everywhere but as drawn I think we come out on top, granted the same break as in the trial. Trap 3 really wants the rails so will be edging across into Trap 2 meaning there should be crowding, Trap 6 more known as a sprinter could be handy but overall form we stay on stronger, so I see an easy victory tonight for Trap 1.

21:46 Hove (Grade - Open race 575m) - Missile One (T3) @ SP

Been waiting for this dog to step up in trip and tonight moving up from four to six bends which should suit us perfectly. Great trial off a 13.54 split recorded 35.03, which for a first look and try at the trip is pretty impressive. Has the four bend early to near enough always lead at the initial bend, if we do that here tonight we could win by many lengths.

Looking at the make up of tonight’s contest, both Trap 1 and Trap 2 are normally not that quick into stride, so we should comfortably lead those on the run up. Trap 4 ideally doesn’t want four and will be edging in on the run up and bend but we should be clear of that bitch. A small danger could be 5 if that out traps us but I can’t see it, I see us in Trap 3 as a solid selection.
