Only two picks from yesterday's four-fold managed to land, but there's plenty more NBA action to enjoy on Wednesday night, with the standout game being a key match-up between the Orlando Magic and the New Orleans Pelicans.

That game, as well as Indiana's trip to Brooklyn and Charlotte's encounter with Portland, feature in our NBA betting tips for Wednesday.

NBA Betting Tips - April 3

  • Charlotte Hornets to beat Portland Trail Blazers @ 4/5
  • Indiana Pacers -7.5 vs Brooklyn Nets @ EVS
  • Orlando Magic to beat New Orleans Pelicans @ 13/8

Treble pays 8.44/1

Charlotte Hornets to beat Portland Trail Blazers @ 4/5

Two struggling sides will meet in Charlotte, as the Hornets host the Trail Blazers.

Portland are currently on a 10-game losing streak, including the past four games on the road. They followed last week's unsightly 60-point loss at Miami by falling 104-103 to host Orlando on Monday night. Similarly, the Hornets have lost eight of their last nine encounters.

Both teams are dealing with multiple injuries, but the Charlotte have demonstrated more flexibility within their roster, and the Hornets won 93-80 at Portland on February 25, marking the only victory during an eight-game stretch.

Someone has to win this game, and I think home advantage could be key.

Indiana Pacers -7.5 vs Brooklyn Nets @ EVS

After a one-sided result in Indianapolis on Monday night, the Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets will quickly put that game behind them and prepare for a rematch on Wednesday night in New York.

Brooklyn will host the final meeting between the sides, but Indiana won the two earlier meetings over the Nets by a combined margin of 43 points.

Brooklyn's offense has been inconsistent to say the least this season, and there's a reason why the Pacers won by 22 points just 48 hours ago, so I'm backing Indiana to cover here.

Orlando Magic to beat New Orleans Pelicans @ 13/8

Two teams desperately trying to avoid falling into play-in territory in their respective conferences go head-to-head Wednesday night as the New Orleans Pelicans host the Orlando Magic.

Orlando has bounced back from a three-game losing streak by winning their last two, and they've also managed to emerge triumphant in eight of their last 11 road matches.

The Magic should feel confident seeing the Pelicans as the opponent, as they were firing on all cylinders in a 121-106 home win over New Orleans on March 21. The Pelicans have managed to win just three of six since that loss.

New Orleans do have a winning record at home this year, but the Magic have been a more consistent outfit in recent weeks, so I'm taking Orlando on the money line.
